TF2 FPS Script

Downloaded TF2 and trying to play it but I only get about 20 fps on this shitty laptop, does anyone have a script they can recommend for better fps? I use to get about 25 fps on css but now get around 70 with a script a friend gave me.

That's mine, it's chris' fps config with a few modifications

Remember to put these in your launch options

Thanks man!! script got my fps to 45 average which is playable....played my first map on tf2 and its awesome!

it adds a bind to right click for soldier where it jumps, shoots and crouches at the same time for easier rocket jumping. do the pros use binds like that? are there any other binds people use?

To sum that whole topic up, read this and take the following away from it:

If a script/bind allows you to do something that the game does not otherwise allow you to do (for instance keep the heavy's minigun rotating without holding down a button) then that is illegal. If a script/bind changes multiple out of game things with a single press then that is legal. By this I mean things like changing the color/size transparency of your cross hairs, changing draw characteristics, changing the HUD and other aesthetic concerns.

If a script/bind allows you to change loadout or class with a single press of a button then that is also legal.

Most "top" soldiers do it manually because it gives you much more control over your height and type of jump. You don't always want a crouch jump rj because you may go to high which means easy airshot for someone else, and even when you crouch jump rj if you do it manually you can fine tune the height depending on whether you fire at the peak or start of your jump. They are useful for when you start out teaching yourself what the jump should "feel" like.
