So we all know about the new set, so I don't need to go into details here. Feel free to discuss it though.
Of equal interest to me, however, is the changes made to charging for both the charge'n'targe and the splendid screen. You can now charge in midair, and cancelling a charge with a melee attack (or if you are airblasted) will no longer completely drain your charge meter.
This has led to the development of a new technique that you've likely seen (or heard) by now. Here is a good demonstration. I've seen a few names for this floating around, but I prefer "wavedashing"
This has also opened up one more technique for the Demoknight: Rampsliding. If you jump and charge into a slope that you can't normally walk up, you'll slide up it and get launched into the air. This leads to some interesting possibilities. I made a video of some jumps that I found here. I'm not sure how useful this will be in practice, but if you're running the Arabian Knight its the only jumping technique you will have available to you (no grenade jumps). Regardless, its fun as hell.
(BTW, I'm Kered13 in game.)Last edited by Derek; 06-29-11 at 05:15 AM.

Well I can't watch the video one this but I have noticed the change most in medieval mode the dagroot keep or whatever it's called you can now use the charge as blue to charge over the big rock right outside spawn onto the top of the fort where red leaves from.
