    Read the picture "Cannot be crit boosted"

    I used it alot yesterday and never did I both min crit/light people on fire AND disable a sentry. Almost impossible to do both with one shot.

    Ah, must have misread the patch notes.
    That still leaves 2 complete upgrades to the weapon without having any real downside.

    The first rocket takes 0.5 seconds longer to reload (Which is the most important, single rocket reloads to finish off targets win and lose you fights), While each additional is 0.07 seconds faster

    4.48 Seconds for 4 rockets in the Rocket Launcher
    4.70 Seconds for 4 rockets in the Mangler

    It Reloads slower, does less base spam damage, makes you useless to use any kind of uber on, allows sentries to rape you, and has a slow moving (You and projectile) charge shot that leaves you with no ammo loaded to protect yourself (Plus that first rocket takes 1/2 second longer before you even have a chance) That is only a single mini crit rocket with 6 seconds of after burn or a disable a sentry for 4 seconds. (Have yet to see both happen with one shot, get me a replay of it doing both)

    I also find it funny that people were calling the Liberty Launcher a pure upgrade because one less rocket wasn't much of a downside but one more rocket on the Mangler is completely OP.

    Well I already stopped using it, now I'm even less likely to go back.

    Offset by the fact that you can spam forever, without having to worry about ammo. And before any comes in saying that ammo is common in TF2, last I checked, there was no ammo on Gravelpit B roof, or numerous other vantage points. And part of the reason you aren't constantly running out of ammo with the normal rocket launcher is because you are at least somewhat conservative about shooting your rockets. If you're not constantly spamming rockets at the nearest choke with the mangler, you're doing it wrong.

    Only applies to kritz. Having an extra rocket is hugely beneficial with a normal uber unless you're ubering to get rid of a sentry, in which case you should be ubering a demoman anyways.

    Great, one class has an advantage over you. Oh wait, any advantage normal sentries had is negated by the long range sapper. So actually, only one type of one class (gunslinger engineer) has an advantage over you.

    Which you are under no obligation to use until you know it will be beneficial.

    (Plus that first rocket takes 1/2 second longer before you even have a chance)
    So make sure to fire and reload your whole clip at once, to minimize the number of times you do your initial reload. If you run out of rockets in the middle of a fight, pull out your shotgun like you should. Run out of that? You're not doing a great job. (But just reload your shotgun anyways)

    The liberty launcher had a huge upside (faster rockets the pretty much hand you airshots), and it was balanced by a huge downside (one less rocket). Overall, the Liberty Launcher is slightly better for 1v1, but worse at spam. The Cow Mangler has a miniscule downside, and a huge updside.

    Slowed reload rate by 5%
    Oh no, it takes .25 second longer to reload a full clip!


    Still OP as fuck.

    Actualy using some lazy math thats .48 seconds for 4 rockets (thats still one rocket away from max) and from the look of things the sapper shot is REALLY slow, wouldnt a body be able to jump in the way of that before it reaches the gun? And the important thing isnt the total amount its the first rocket reload time. It takes FOREVER to reload and theres plenty of time where you need to launch one rocket at range to do some damage.

    They reduced the max ramp-up from 150% to 125% like the rocket launcher, So now it does less at all ranges. At least 10% less damage with higher ramp-up then the rocket launcher was interesting.
