Am I the only one who thinks the Enforcer is overpowered?

i was the engee that was on the other side of this experiment last night on steel. ooze was doing decent zaps, and firing away as i chased him. I could hear him re-loading while I went after him and un-zapped my gun. Enforcer+Zapper=lost time.

How is that possible? It does more damage, shouldn't it do it in less than the revolver.
It does 8 more base damage per shot and shoots at the same speed, so It should take 1 less shot, not more.

Revolver: 40*6=240
Enforcer 48*5=240

Level 3 Sentry has 216 health

Are you sure Ooze didn't just miss? He was trying to dodge you after all. I think this calls for a more careful experiment.

I'm pretty sure a gun takes less damage from your Revolver if it's sapped.

test it out yourself people, shouldn't be that hard. but I sapped a sentry, stood 4 feet in front of it and unloaded my gun into it; maybe even got 7 shots by the time I was charged. Later I switched to revolver and 6 shots easily took down sentry.

It's hard to miss when your shooting at a sapped sentry, anyway, that was enough to make me switch for now since I shoot at sapped stuff all the time.

edit: Now, only gonzo knows if he was hitting it with the wrench once or twice from behind the ledge, of course that would be the difference if he was....

I sap and shoot down teleporter entrances with it all the time, haven't noticed any difference.

2 shotting snipers and scouts makes it an obvious choice for me though.

I was running around, collecting ammo. I saw you standing there, firing, point blank. I was still able to use my shotgun, blast you and un-zap. The next time, same thing but I didn't get the zap off.
