But yeah, it's things like this that cause Valve to keep nerfing the jumpers.

What I meant was it used to not deal self damage to other weapons when you had the SJ equipped. Like you could shoot someone point blank with the grenade launcher and deal no damage, and the boom stick didn't do any damage to you when you blew someone up. Now it does

Oh, I had no idea. I would have thought that that was a bug; that's quite fascinating.

Beyond that, I believe (correct me if I'm wrong) that when it was first released, the only negative attribute was that the weapon itself couldn't do damage. No health nerf or damage vulnerability nerf.
