    I think a nice buff for the new shotty would be the ability to bring your metal over 200, say 250. So If you go into a fight with 200 and make a few nice shots and don't miss, you get rewarded, not just waste potential metal because you couldn't go past 200.


    Also, I think having fixed weapon spread turned on would better the odds with it, less chance of your on target shot doing no damage and wasting all your metal.

    yeh that would be slick and would give more incentive for offensive engies so they could build up a big stash of metal after a firefight and then build quick on the frontlines.

    or at least just make the metal cost 30 ammo instead of 60 so that you can build up your metal.

    Oooh, this sounds super cool, way more interesting than just lowering the cost of each shot.

    In addition, gaining metal per shot is a reasonably difficult feat, so this would be nice reward for higher-skilled players, me thinks.

    Engie should get a new melee that gives metal on hit. That would be nice with these two weapons.
