    Re: Version Management

I'm now at the point where an official subversion repository would be really useful to have. And now that joker has begun work on stats, it would be even more useful.

I realize money is tight and time is short, so I went ahead and setup a personal repository on my own computer for now. But as soon as we're able, I'd love to get the official one up and running.

Side idea: I realize this is possibly overkill, but I think it might be valuable to version manage our game server configs. So that (1) if an update overwrites them, we can see what changed in the update as well as restore our old settings, and so (2) we have a history of the match server configs (i.e. we can see who did what to which config and when they did it) and if someone screws a config up, we can restore it easily.

We for sure need to get this setup for your guys, as you are going to need it.

Also, that's not a bad idea about using svn for our game configs..
