Just like we have a power hierarchy with game admins, we have a power heiarchy with project team members.

• Developer Lead
• Test Lead
• Developer
• Tester

The project lead is at the top and has the job of making sure everything fits together as a cohesive whole and that the vision is properly defined and executed. The project lead has two equal people under him: lead developer and lead tester.

The lead developer is in charge of all of the developers. His job is to not only develop the mod, but to also manage the other developers and make sure the whole group works together as a team. Ultimately, the development of the mod is his responsibility, and if something doesn't get done, his neck is on the line.

The lead tester is the parallel of the lead developer, but for testing the mod. He not only tests the mod, but coordinates all the testers to make sure work is divided up and coordinated appropriately. And like the lead developer, if something doesn't get tested, it's his responsibility.

A developer works on the mod and works with the lead developer to make sure features are added and bugs are fixed correctly and in a timely manner

A tester works with the the lead tester to make sure the mod is tested in all the right ways to get the bugs out before it goes public. Bugs might leak out, but it's the goal of this group to make it as rare as possible.
