I believe the answer to this problem is something no other source mod has done (that I've found): revoting

Accidently vote while changing weapons? Revote. Want to change what map your voting for? Revote.

It'll be a chat command ("revote") and a player menu option (probably the first one).

Thoughts?

Nice find. I knwo plenty of times people just hit 1. Not even to switch weapons but just to get the vote out of the way... So you would have a longer vote timer then? Maybe 30-60 seconds?

revote sounds like a great idea, and I also agree that lengthening the vote timer seems necessary.

I know this would be a very end detail if you choose to consider it, but I thought I would throw it out.

I remember back in my CSS days that Mani had advertisements that would be almost like sprays in certain spots of d2... aztec etc.... It would be a simple Mani Logo with a website underneath it.

Maybe the same would be cool with lonestar! Have some sort of Lonestar / TTP logo with the URL underneath it. I understand people with low texture setting may not be able to make it out clearly, but it would be like built in billboards. I am sure we would see a little more traffic to the site as well as people downloading / using lonestar.

2 cents..... well maybe just 1 cent.
