Feature order? What can we expect next?

As a quick update, we're hoping beta2 (i.e. voting) goes live on the TF2 servers sunday, and assuming there are no major issues, then it goes live on the DoD:S server Wednesday

Unfortunately we've found some last minute bugs that are going to prevent the release tomorrow. In all likelihood, it'll mean next weekend (Friday) will be the release as we need time to fix the bugs and retest for anything else that might have gone wrong.

As an FYI, we got some testing done last night, and worked out all of the bugs we were able to find last time around. I will let Ewok answer when it will be released, and go live on the servers, but I know he was hopeful it would be soon.

I stuck it on the TF2 servers last night for a trial-by-fire run. I'll be monitoring it all-day to see if anything goes wrong. I'm already aware of one issue where the server is dropping some of my packets, which is resulting in people not seeing the vote countdown timer as well as some of the RTV text the server responds back with. I think I have a fix for this and I can stick it on the servers late tonight.

What Jabber said. The thing about TF2 is that I know that server well and can deal with it if something goes wrong. I can't do that with DoD, so I'd rather not put risk on that server until I know the mod is stable. I make no promises, but we'll try to get it on DoD this weekend assuming it works well on TF2 this week.

Well, I saw the votemap up on the server tonight. It worked, Everyone could vote and all, but the map never changed or anything. The nextmap after was meant to be badwater from the voting, but it was dustbowl.
