Thread: hlstatsx plugin

so now that we are streaming to hlstatsx for stats.....we need that weapon data.

fuck mani, and fuck smm, and fuck all the other mods. and.....if we're going to use hlstatsx...we might as well use a plugin that lets us (high admins) configure it from a web interface. That's the hlstatsX plugin. it'll do a lot of simple in-game stats functions, which we can block or disable....but it will also append the logs into an hlstatsX readable format.

The official HLstatsX Ingame Plugin manages all ingame events and more! Besides the known advanced HLstatsX ingame statistics (new coloring!) the plugin provides the blocking of the HLstatsX commands from the chat area, a very cool ingame menu for faster access to all HLstatsX commands and finally an option to log headshots accordingly to the valve logging standard! Additionally a second plugin is included which generates the advanced weapon logging to create server logs which can be parsed by various statistic systems (like HLstatsX) to display weapon accuracy and weapon targets.

Important Note: The official HLstatsX Ingame Plugin requires that you have installed at least SourceMod v1.00 at your gameserver!

To install the plugin do the following steps:


Download the plugin at http://www.hlstatsx.com/downloads/so...lugin_V2.8.zip
Copy the two plugins into the "plugins" directory of your SourceMod installation
Restart your gameserver
Setup the commands for the SourceMod within the control-panel of your HLstatsX Premium account

I've already started looking into porting the first script to LoneStar; it seems possible, it just might take a while. In the meantime it seems like installing sourcemod and running that plugin might be the answer.

Bunni's just about done with the weapon stats LoneStar script, which is what HLStatsX second script does (I compared the two, they do the same things).

right i have the upcoming week off and will use the majority of it to play catch up. Stats is first on my list
