I've looked into it, and damage screens should be pretty easy to do cross-game

I think you should just add the damage menu and perhaps location of last hit for DoD and CS:S I am not sure if this would be useful on TF2 with the randomized damage and usual shortness of life. People would probably find it annoying since sometimes you take over 1000 points of damage before dieing. Would suck to see you hit/killed this guy 8 times and took damage from every single player in one life.
Skip this function for TF2.

From my point of view, just spamming who did damage to who else isn't very useful, so I don't think the damage menu should be done that way.
The most useful I've seen it is for when you're essentially "dueling" another player and you died; you want to know how close to dead he is, and maybe who else was shooting you or him at the time.
So in my mind the idea is:
Ewok and Langrad are shooting at each other, and Langrad kills Ewok
Ewok gets a damage screen popped up that reads something like:
Fight Postmortem:
Langrad killed you: 182 damage
Other people hurt you: 18 damage
You hurt Langrad: 160 damage (40 health left)
