    CS:GO Tournament Coverage

    Howdy,

If you are interested in joining the TPG Media Team in covering the CS:GO tournament in anyway please post in this thread. In your post please let us know what you want/can do, and why you want to. This can be anything from being a cameraman for the casts, a shoutcaster, or we may need help with articles and statistics on the matches. If you are interested in any of this please post, and you may receive a PM from me with more directions.

I can Camera, I don't know what you mean with the articles/stats, but I might be able to help with that.

Basically what we're thinking is Kills/assists/objective points/etc. Just something for people to see as far as stats go to rate how they are doing.

Then maybe articles about how the matches went, if someone was replaced, and a look ahead at matches(biggest ones to look forward to etc.).

Just small things to help us out as we already have non-tournament stuff to do.

I think I'll be down for shoutcaster, breakdown on map (strats), and stats.

Ah, ok, I think I can handle helping with the stats, I'm not confident enough in my CS to write anything more in-depth than that.

    shoutcaster
I broadcast gaming videos on Twitch TV and my finished videos are on YouTube! Recently I shoutcasted the Counter Strike Tournament at PAX Prime 2012!

I can run camera, I'd be willing to write short pre-match blurbs also if needed and post match summary's.

Definitely hoping to shout cast a bit. It's something I had minor experience with in the past, but I have a lot of experience with plenty of the folks playing. I think I can provide relevant content as well as a strategic breakdown.

Also, any writing you may need done. I would be happy to provide predictions on a weekly basis for good match ups.

Hey guys. I may be a little late and possibly a bit too new in the community to take part in this, but being an accountant I am a huge excel junky and can easily set up so many stats you won't even know what to do with them; and possibly even run them in real time for any shoutcaster to use during a match. Let me know.

    Re: CS:GO Tournament Coverage

I know I'm jumping the gun because I have not gotten a response yet, but I love this stuff. Just spent the last 2 hours mapping out on paper an excel document of how to set everything up. This is going to be crazy. It'll probably take me a day or two in order to actually create the file, but I think you guys are going to shit your pants.
