Article Incentives!

Generally gaming topics are prefered, however, that doesn't mean they must be exclusively gaming articles. Any of those topics but maybe the fiction would be interesting to see. As for fiction, that we'd prefer go in a blog. Once we're back up to speed with the transfering of articles (from ttp to tpg) and have the podcasts squared away, we will be looking into something like a "Featured Blog" or some other format, where we'd take a particularly interesting/good blog post and feature it as an article on the front-page.. we haven't worked out the specifics yet, but something like a weekly, or if we get enough good blog entries from people, perhaps even an every-few-days or hopefully even a daily featured blog. I could see some cool fiction falling into that category.

Thanks for the clarification on accepted material. I kinda figured a blog as well but I was interested in the incentive. Now let's look at it from another perspective take Resident Evil for example a game but fiction as a movie or in reverse Star Wars. One man's sour green apple is the others delicious Granny Smith pie. Thanks again for your input.

I guess it would partly be dependant on what type of fiction.. for example, if you wanted to put a fictional story twist on a particularly good round of BF2, BC2, PR, etc.. that would probably be cool.. but for even "fan-fic" type stuff, like the L4D diaries we had been doing and the Broken Dawn sort of thing, we decided that would make better blog material instead of straight articles (a hard choice for me as I was heavily involved in both and loved doing them).

does this reward program only apply to existing members of TPG or could a new sign up get in on this ? just curious cause this could be an incentive to finally get a friend of mine to sign up for TPG
