The Spy: Uncovered

The Jan. 6th Update changed the DR, and I'm attempting to rewrite that section. This seems awkward to me, and I'm open to any suggestions:


Dead Ringer: Another Unlockable Watch, this activates when hit by an enemy weapon, negating the damage taken greatly, even to the point where a backstab does not kill the user should they have full health. When the user is “hit”, they take 10% of the damage they would have, and cloak for 6.5 seconds. The person who “killed” the Spy sees a corpse and a kill on the top right of their screen. Because the corpse will look like whatever friendly class you just died as, most will leave you alone. However, if you're disguised as an enemy, you will show up as a spy on the ground when you die. This will tip off the other team. In addition, if you are bumped into while using the DR, you are not revealed, and merely act as a blockade. The watch itself, when uncloaking, makes a loud distinct noise that's been diminished somewhat, but if there are enemies nearby, the user will instantly be revealed. If a spy uncloaks early with this watch, they will immediately drop to 40% cloak, and each larger metal crate (100 or 200 metal) will only bring back 35% of the cloak meter. Thus, a Spy must wait 4 seconds before reusing the watch, if the spy uncloaked early and was standing on a metal crate when they did so. In addition, picking up crates while cloaked increases your cloak time, but be wary - after 6.5 seconds of cloak, if the user bumps into anyone, their outline is shown and they lose the 90% damage reduction. This watch has high risks, but can often yield good returns if used well. Dead Ringer spies make effective cart-pushers, flag-carriers, and point-cappers as well, since they can “die” once hit and can retreat for another push, as you are not afraid of death. One more use will be described later.
