Article Submission - Tapatalk Review.
To start off, you have to understand what Tapatalk is. Tapatalk is a mobile forum browser available on Android and iOS. Tired slow load times? Large images deforming your screen? Loading a full site charging you too much on your data plan? Then Tapatalk could be for you.
User Friendliness:
Tapatalk holds over 18,000 forums to access, and adds 300 every week. As you can see, tapatalk sorts forums in categories but I found that the easiest way to find a forum is the search option in the control bar at the button of the screen. I believe I searched simply Teamplayer and TPG was the only found forum. Extremely easy. Once you are in the forum itself, you can either login or register or just browse by yourself. To register it takes you to the registering page in your usual mobile browser, and logging in just needs a username/password(It will also save your account so you don't have to type your information again) .
Features/Options:
Tapatalk offers many features shown above. You can adjust how many posts per page, enable smilies, auto refreshing, font size, and more. You can link it to Facebook to share topics to your facebook and even open any topics in safari or the mobile browser of your choice. Tapatalk does offer a signature feature, where you can add your own text.
Pros/Cons:
Though Tapatalk's pros out weigh the cons some cons needed to be noted. There are no access to polls nor can you view them, sometimes links don't always work, and sometimes threads wont show till later or not at all in the unread section. The pro's are loading times are cut down to a minimum, save money with your data plan, threads are sorted in unread, or you can even go through even part of the forums manually. Also another pro is that tapatalk adds its own image hosting service, so you can upload to it instead of the site itself (This makes easier and faster to upload mobile images).
Overall:
Tapatalk is 2.99$ so it is not the cheapest app ever, but I believe it is worth every penny. The main thing that made me love the app so much is that you can access the forums on the go without having a wifi connection or even 3G. Tapatalk is a great app, and the pro's out do the cons by a longshot and I would recommend it to anyone to buy it.
Thanks for reading!
