Thread: Banned for disparaged remark towards admins in CSS

#1. Why do you think you got banned?

1st reason (was to be a 10 minute chill ban, as I later found out) For stating that some admins have been inconsistent about enforcement of late. For example, call enforcement has been very high at times, and very low at others. The game in Inferno was going terrible due to several players lazily following the calls so that they may keep the bait points coming.
2nd reason (no names were stated, typed or otherwise posted) The admin accused me of trying to oust him as I did state that his choice of typed vocabulary was revealing as to who he is. This apparently festered in the admin while we were having a Steam Chat and he went from a 10-minute ban to a perma ban.

I stopped making calls because of this lax call-follow attitude. I refrained from calling the blatant players out (as I assumed the admin was going to put some call enforcement up). 5-6 rounds of another caller went by with no action taken.

Some admins have been doing team balancing, which often results in almost all remaining rounds in a given map being lost by the "unloaded" team. I did not want a win to occur this way, but a 1-trade may have helped, yet was not attempted thus adding to the frustration.

Lazarus had taken calls over, Pickle, Action & Chuck somebody were in game, other players I cannot remember

I was getting frustrated with the calls being disregarded or half-ass followed.

#3. Why should you be unbanned?

I usually don't go off on any admins. I know it is against server rules and I apologize for the attack.

#4. A written statement that you will refrain from doing anything that will get you banned again.

I will leave the admins alone (not contest them) and only use admin chat to ask questions or request in-game assistance.


#5. Failure to address all of the above questions clearly will result in your post being locked and/or your unban request to go unprocessed. If you don't care, we don't care.

#6. If your ban is sustained (upheld by the voting admins), you will have to wait at least 30 days before any additional request to be "unbanned" can be accepted.

I do not think others knew who the admin was, but the vocabulary was quite the giveaway and I should not have pointed it out.

Hitch, we appreciate you not saying an admins name out or even hinting who it may be, it's important to keep admins anonymous. If you ever want to help, please send an admin message via chat. Please in the future try not to say negative things about admins in any sort of way, because that will lead to a permanent ban.

The ban was for 10 mins. You should be able to rejoin the server, if not wait for the restart in the morning.
