Thread: That Handsome Devil

I have gone through the names That Handsome Devil, Candide, Skeletor, and Cape Cod Kwassa Kwassa in my time at TPG.

Hello, I will be going through each of the steps provided in the "read this first" post one at a time. First off, I hope you enter this discussion with an open mind and I thank you for doing so.

1. To put it simply, I was banned for being disrespectful to an admin. We were playing a round of Piranesi in which the CT's started 9-0 and eventually lost 15 in a row. At the end of the final round, in admin chat, someone (I say someone because admins are anonymous) said, "15-0". In a blind kind of anger that comes after 15 straight losses, I responded with "%#$^ you admin." By the next map I was banned.

2. I was playing on the TPG awp server on CS:S. My steam id is STEAM_0:1:13494095. As far as players on the server go, I'm not really sure how I would look that up on the stats menu. If you can explain to me how, I will gladly assist in any way I can.

3. I think I should be unbanned for two important reasons. The first reason is my history on the server. I have played over a month total time between the servers and have assumed somewhat of a leadership position. I am not afraid to call teammates out in an effort to better my team. I have called strategies many times on terrorist and am always active on the mic CT when calling bombsites. I have also never had a problem with admins in the time I have played in the server(s). I have always- and still- have the utmost respect for the admins decisions and authority.

I also believe that the circumstances for the banning is special because my comment was not in direct rebellion against the admin. I was simply talking trash back like I would against any regular player. Looking back on it, my word choice wasn't exactly ideal or mature. As they say, hind-sight is 20-20.

4. I think my history in the server speaks for itself here. In the two or so years I have played here, this is the only incident I've had with an admin. I assure you I will refrain from such stupid, immature comments in the future.
