Thread: Banned from CSS Main server

Today at approximately 11:18PM PST I was banned from the CS:S Main server. No written or verbal warning was issued, so I am unsure why I was banned.

The last round that I played the call was around the world (Mid -> Alt Mid -> Banana). I was last in line so I stayed at Banana junction to make sure we weren't rushed/flanked. I knew this was not an explicit part of the call, but from previous ping-pong or round-the-world calls I remembered this tactic and thought it was not 'out of the ordinary'.

Regardless, no warning before being banned was confusing. This, combined with my regular, good demeanor on the server should be reason to un-ban me.

In the future I will make sure to clear these tactics with the caller ahead of time.

Benmoo, I was your banning admin. You were banned for not following the call. The call was perfectly clear for all T's to follow. Straight mid, back to alt mid, then straight to banana on de_inferno. You stayed in mid and eventually went thru banana. You pretty much gave our position away. There were already 3 warnings given to the T's to follow calls and there were already bans issued at some who didn't follow orders, so, that should've been a great number of warnings for all T's to get their attention. However, i haven't had any real problems with you game play, so i issued you a 1 day ban. You should be able to connect by tomorrow. If not, let me know...and make sure to read CS Rules and Policies before playing in the TPG servers. So you can prevent yourself from coming back in the ban forum
