Ownage.HN Ban Appeal
Team Player Gaming,
Alias: "Ownage.HN"
SteamID: "STEAM_0:0:3304193"
1) I got banned because an inexperienced admin at the time did not know the difference between a skilled player and a cheater. This was around 2005 or 2006?
2) I was in one of your original CS:S servers led by Texan and FedEx. I think FedEx banned me with zero proof of me cheating and only upon speculation that I was cheating because I kept killing him.
3) I should be unbanned because there is zero proof that I cheat and I do not cheat. I did not cheat then, either. I also believe that the skill base on the admins has increased since my ban therefore I am likely to not be banned again.
4) I did nothing to warrant a ban other than false accusations and speculation that I cheated. I even did not become disrespectful around the time that I was banned.
Note that I've been under the same alias and Steam ID for the past ~8 years. If I have been cheating this whole time, it would be assumed that I would have been VAC banned by now.
May I please be unbanned after years of false accusation? Thank you for your consideration!
Best Regards,
Ownage.HN

Re: Ownage.HN Ban Appeal
FYI: When I was with eGO, we banned this player as well. After many advisers looked at the demos it was conclusive he was/is cheating. This happened just a few months ago.

Re: Ownage.HN Ban Appeal
There is a reason those forums are PRIVATE, and for admins to see only - So that people don't go around displaying or referring to contests/bans publicly.
On-topic:
In the player's defense, his STEAMID shows up in several different league teams, so it may just be map-knowledge/experience in the game.
Note that I've been under the same alias and Steam ID for the past ~8 years. If I have been cheating this whole time, it would be assumed that I would have been VAC banned by now.
(I'm not saying you hack, just simply 'correcting' what you said)
I rest my case with this, though. The rest is up to TPG Admins to discuss/review.Last edited by FireHazard772; 10-18-12 at 03:17 PM.

Re: Ownage.HN Ban Appeal
Actually the entire case is up to TPG Admins. We don't need your assistance possibly causing any unneeded misdirection or representation.
Take a 3 day break from the forums and make yourself aware of the sticky about posting in banned forums for future reference.
Ownage -- seeing as how this is an old ban, this might take a little longer to come to a conclusion. Sit tight. Admins are discussing.

Re: Ownage.HN Ban Appeal
He is wrong but not exactly lying. It was shortly "confirmed" that I was cheating by advisers that were as good as the player who banned me. After being reviewed further by the proper admins of the CS division, it was concluded that I was not cheating. Note the latest state of my banning is unbanned: Approved Ownage.HN Application - EdgeGamers Organization
I am well aware that there have been "VAC undetectable hacks" but the chances of me having one that has gone undetected for the past 8 years is highly unlikely. This was my point.
Regardless of those who shouldn't have posted here due to "not being involved," (like what enf said), I'd like to point out that I am not trying to come across as being "entitled to become unbanned." I was trying to be as objective as possible as to why I was banned. Suppose you were banned for cheating yet you did not cheat. You could only infer at this point that the banning admin is inexperienced with the game. This was my observation so please do not take offense to this.
I also wanted to point out that I was not banned for any other reasons. I was not banned for disrespecting admins. I was not banned for being disruptive in game. I also did not become disrespectful after I was banned.
With all of this considered, again, may I please be unbanned after years of false accusation? Thank you for your consideration!
Best Regards,
Ownage.HN

Re: Ownage.HN Ban Appeal
By vote of CSS admins, your ban is to remain in tact due to the tone of your unban request. Our admins do not ban people because someone is better than them. Your skill level has nothing to do with the actions taken against you. You can appeal in 30 days hopefully with a new mindset.
