Thread: unban request

I believe the reason was "not following the call," which is the same reason I was banned before. (thread)

The ban was delivered on one of the CS:S servers. Our team was losing pretty bad. That's about all I remember. I don't know what map it was on, what server it was on, what admins were on, what I did, etc. Sorry. Hopefully you keep logs for that.

Now why should I be unbanned? After all, I was banned for the exact same reason that I've been banned for before. I can't remember anything about the circumstances of my ban which would help me.

Despite being banned twice by this community, I still want to be unbanned. I want to play on the TPG servers. I will follow the rules to the best of my ability, because I understand that doing otherwise will result in another swift and well-deserved period of banishment. I see TPG servers as among the best, if not the best game servers open to the public. Other servers are simply plagued with problems as a result of lack of communication and are not fun to play on.

It's been two months since I was banned. (September 1) I knew if I appealed immediately, I'd probably get rejected immediately. So, I've waited a bit, and now I'd like to ask you to give me another chance.

Hi acidcj, sorry for the delay. I'm your banning admin. You were right about the reason for your ban; you were off the call. The map was lost temple and multiple warnings were issued for Ts to follow the call. On a 3-way split A you were hanging back in water behind the bridge while the rest of the team was pushing to the objective so I banned you.

Normally on a second ban (we have a three strike rule as you know) I would ask what we would gain from lifting your ban - but in your post I see you have noticed what it's like "out there" and appreciate the TPG way of playing: follow the call, play with your team. I will get a vote started on your behalf which will take <3 days and results will be posted in this thread, sit tight.
