Thread: Unban request Dayz

1. Yesterday between 10:30pm and 11pm pacific time zone I killed Ace22 and Synch at factory. I have now been accused of Ghosting them because we were in the same channel for some time where we both gave away information of what we were doing. I told ace that i was north east and he told me he was running back to his body then looking for a tire for a ATV. After talking with them I wanted to go PVP so i left the channel and started to move south from Krasnesatv to Orlevets where I had my NVG in a tent which I need because the sun was going down. Now when I got to factory this is 30 minutes after i left there channel I saw no spawn and nothing that would say there was anyone was there. I was about to leave when two players with a M4s starts shooting in the road and ran into the factory. I had no way of knowing it was them because so much time had past. I made the decision to shoot both players.

2. I was on the teamplayergaming Dayz server and the admin who banned me was Nuckle. Tractorpull was also in the channel with ace22 when i killed him.

3. I believe that I should be unbanned because I have been playing with the teamplayer Dayz community for along time now and I am a teamplayer and I don't believe i broke any rules.

4. I will adhere to the rules that Team Player Gaming has set forth in the present and future during my time at TPG.

I only heard ace speaking of the factory and thinking going there and that was 10 minutes before I left the channel making it up to 40 minutes or more before I killed them. making it more like for other players to be there. I wasn't going down south to kill ace I was going for my NVG and I ran into two players that I killed. This is DAyz you cant call a part of the map off limits for a hours just cause you where thinking of going there. I would also like to say that after i had kill them ace came into my channel and tried to blackmail me for his stuff back saying if i didn't give it back he would get me banned now to me that doesn't sound to teamplayer like.

He asked where we were, I replied with the Factory looking for tires so we could repair an atv.
He also learned in our channel that the choppers he was "apparently" looking for were destroyed yesterday and what guns we were carrying.

After this happened I tried to work something out with Syrx to at least just get our gear back and move on but this was not possible. Instead he basically told me to f'off and buried the bodies. I feel the only recourse I have is to bring it up in the forums.

Things lost:

2 sets of NVG's
1 GPS
2 m4a3 CCO's
all the small stuff eg. 2 compases, 2 matches, alice packs.
... 4+hours of time spent gathering parts and repairing an atv (everything needed to be replaced and I only needed to find 1 more tire)

30 minutes in DayZ time is nothing. You could just as easily checked back in and told them you were going that way and hostile. You could have even told him that you were coming for him. You should have known it was them when you heard the shots from the factory. Ace did not call that part of the map off limits but he said things in a channel that he thought was safe only to have that used against him. Hanging out and chatting is all well and good. So is deciding you are going to go hostile. In this case you did that but it does not seem to me that the other party knew you were coming for them which you did. We will never know your true intentions but the safety of our teamspeak channels will be managed with little tolerance. It is just too damn ironic that you ended up exactly at his location just after learning where he was. I am sure he gave you a chance to give him his gear back before reporting you. Your story makes sense but so would mine if I were trying to justify my actions.

I personally think that this was intentional but that is the great thing about TPG. It does not matter what I think. The only thing that matters is the outcome of the vote.

Anything you would like to add before we investigate further and put this up for vote? Keep in mind, we have logs, locations and everything else available to us. Sometimes the truth will set you free.

I told them when i left the channel I was hostile and I wasn't hunting them And i know you have logs, locations and everything else and Im telling you Im not lieing.

By vote of the DayZ admin you are to remain banned from DayZ and TS. You may submit another unban request in 30 days. Gaining information in TS and then using that information against another player will not be tolerated. You should have not gone down to the the factory without a heads up or warning to the players that you killed. The fact that you did not admin this was wrong certainly did not help your case any.
