Thread: Banned CS:GO

Hello there TPG!
I'm sad this is my first post on this forum, but alas, I have been banned.
My steam ID is STEAM_1:1:8413023 and my ingame handle is Shattered.

I was just recently playing on the TeamPlayerGaming.com CS:GO server. It was a few rounds past the pistol round on de_train, on the terrorist side- I ran over to some dead cts, grabbed whatever guns and nades I could, and spawned the next round. I heard the call to rush A, and to smoke near the trainside. I swapped to what I thought was a smoke nade and tossed it around a corner, right into all of my teammates rushing A. It was not, however, a smoke nade. I teamflashed literally the entire team. Whoops. If you get a chance to check the chat log I think I stopped running and typed something to the effect of: "Oh shite. That wasn't a smoke nade."

Guess I gotta pay more attention and not be such a dumbass, haha.

Within the next five seconds or so, an admin over voice asked: " Why would you throw a flash there? That was intentional." Before I had a chance to respond or defend myself, I was kicked and banned. I don't know what admin it was.

I'm pretty surprised as I've never once been warned on this server, or caused any trouble. I hope to get back soon to one of my favorite'd servers.

Hey shattered, the timing of the nade is what made me feel that it was intentional....it happened so quickly out of spawn. This was during a time when I was dealing with a lot of non-teamplayers, so I had to make a quick decision and decided to ban. I will put your vote up....feel free to add anything else here.

I totally understand, and if I was in your shoes I would have booted me immediately.

I hadn't played CS in a while so that probably also lead to me being convinced that I had a smoke nade in hand.

Granted tho, you guys just have to give me the benefit of the doubt that I'm not actually an evil-troll mastermind/liar who wanted to ruin the game for other people- haha.
I hope given my attitude, my track record, and approach to this whole deal proves otherwise.
