What do you feel was unjust about your ban?
After reading the teamplay rules over and over it just seems ridiculous to just that I was violating teamplay rules. Madmax was on the opposite terrorist team and absolutely no strats or anything were being called out. People kept rushing in as the defending CT team which apparently is equal to me and my friend 'baiting' the entire team. The goal of Counter Strike is to hold bomb sites and kill any Terrorist rushing in. CT's were instead attacking the Terrorists instead of holding the bombsites down which led to me usually being last as I was playing the AWP. I've played CS since I was about 8 back in 2002. You do NOT push with an AWP. You hold angles, you get picks and hold bombsites. Frequently it would occur that I was holding B and they would rotate to A where every CT was playing fairly aggressively even though they didn't have the required skill. They would all die relatively quickly and I would be the one rotating to A with an AWP in hand. Now, as you know, this is CLASSIC COMPETITIVE. Money is not easy to obtain when you keep losing. An AWP costs $4700 (if my memory serves me correctly) and it takes about 3 losing rounds to save up for an AWP. Since we didn't have a main AWPer I took up the role. It came down to the point where me and my friend had to retake A in a 2 v 6 (or so) situation. We were the only ones really communicating besides Predecessor who actually just kept insulting my tactics in chat. Me and my friend get positions ready and we were about to go in and try and retake the site. I was about to peak out when he unfortunately died off balcony, leaving me in a 1 v 6 situation. At this point the "we are not telling you to go run in and die," situation kicks in and I hold an angle to possibly get some exit frags. I was NOT saving my awp necessarily as I was putting myself at a risk to be killed. I was trying to get some kills as I knew maybe 2 would push me, which would leave me to a more reasonable retake. Unfortunately I got 2 kills but they were split well apart which mean I had absolutely no time to kill them all and defuse the bomb, so I ran back to CT to try and save my AWP. After that I was banned by MadMax with absolutely zero warning of what I did (even though, after reading the rules several times again, I'm still not aware of what part of teamplay I was breaking.) I believe I did kill him so this is a bit of a biased ban on the exit (if I'm wrong please tell me, my memory is awful.) A little complaint I have playing on the server yesterday is that everyone was EXTREMELY rude. I understand this is a competitive game and I'm extremely competitive, if not more than everyone in the server. The admins had quite a biased against people they knew. They openly let them insult me and my friend and if we lashed back at all, we were warned. The friends were able to continue fucking around with us and insulting us but we were left with absolutely no stance or ability to defend ourselves unless we wanted to be banned. This was something I'd be pleased to have explained to me because I see no reason why this should ever occur. Thank you.

hi, i played with mono when this happened. although mono was being rude, he was following the rules. he just normally says thing sarcastically or ironically to be funny. he was making an attempt to get exit kills but got banned. also, he was being provoked all through the night last night as well as me. i got called a kid with downs/bad/not following the rules and was not allowed to talk back without a warning with being banned. i tried my hardest to explain the situation to the admins and other members but every time i started talking they told me if i didn't like it i could leave, which was the opposite, i like the server. an admin eventually apologized but today another admin warned me because i was talking back to someone who said he wouldnt listen to me because i sounded like i had downs. i'd like to play on the server more but it seriously seems like the admins keep taking sides with their buddies and won't get the full story before constantly warning me. i didnt really understand the rules at first, and after an player/admin had explained them to me another admin warned me for something the other player/admin said i could do.

The only one who should be posting in this thread are the banned person and the banning admin. While we appreciate your take on things, it is not needed at this point. Please refrain from posting in other people's banned threads in the future.

Thank you for taking the time to register and properly fill out an unban request. My apologies for having you wait without a response.

You are correct that I am your banning admin. I banned you for not making a valid attempt to defuse the bomb multiple times over the course of multiple sessions. You were specifically warned at least twice that I witnessed on another occasion, and upon seeing you give another half effort to getting to the bomb I banned you without further warning. By that time you should have been well aware of the expectation.

There are of course situations where its possible that a player might not be able to defuse the bomb and stay alive, but the consistency that you were in such a situation over the course of different maps points to you not giving it your best effort and instead looking to boost your KDR.

We regret that it took so long to respond to your request and if you want to start a new unban request we will make sure someone is on it quickly. But as for this one... It's been 15 days without response. Closing it up.
