Banned (A3 Chernarus)

Got told to post here so here it is

1) I was at guglovo traders today when there was guy in traders on my way out he starts spamming smoke grenades around my hunter (which is how you spawn vehicles in certain spots now which i though he was going to do to blow my hunter up) during this time i run over cookie my team mate. To stop the guy getting in my car or spawning a vehicle i decided to run him over, Not knowing that he would die as its a 'Safe' zone in my defence. I offerd to give the player his gear back but he went ahead with getting me banned instead. I realise this was a jerk a move to run him over when it should be a safe area.

2) A3 Chernarus. Merrit banned me i think.

3) I should be unbanned as this is my first ever offence, Im not a jerk ive played with TPG for the last year and half i admit it was a douche move and wont happen again.

Hi Unknown,

This banned was discussed long and hard and the final conclusion was in 2 parts.

1) Rule number 7 concerning "Killing in Safe Zones" was obviously broken over and over by running your vehicle over Quattro over and over. Even if the zone is protected if you point a gun at someone there and it actually kills them, you still killed someone there by an overt act.

2) After you broke the rule you then looted the body. I know you offered the items back and to be honest I am more of the forgiving type when it comes to the stealing of loot. IMO the correct course would have been to standby until Quattro returned to reclaim his loot. Especially if it was you who sold his locked quadbike to the trader.

The main reason behind the ban was to get you in this forum to explain what happened and to make sure that it doesn't happen again. As soon as you respond I will get your unban vote started.

Hey Merritt

1) Yes i totally understand this it was an act of stupidity. I did not know it would kill him as they are meant to be safe area in arma 2 you could run people over and they would never die the only thing that could happen was you could ram vehicles and cause damage.

2) Yes i offerd him the gear back but i got told to leave it be and deal with the consequences & No i didnt sell his quadbike it was umlocked so i locked it again and left it so he could return and wait for the timer to go down.

I will await and see what the outcome is, I know your trying to run thing the proper way No matter what the outcome is your doing your job.
