What do you mean "if I would have seen the full message"? I don't understand how your talking with the commander over VOIP impacted your ability to see the chat.

1.) Yep, you were on my team, but me saying I want to play with my team does not mean I want any random teammate in my gunner seat. When I say I want to play with my team, I mean I want to contribute to our collective victory in the most effective way I can, and to do that, I need a gunner with whom I can communicate over VOIP.

2.) This is a game and I play it to have fun. That's all there is to it. I don't have as much fun staring at the deployment screen as I do when I'm alive and I don't have as much fun losing as I do when I'm winning. If you think I'm somehow not playing to win because I'm not just throwing my body at a flag, I think you should hop into teamspeak with me when I play.

3.) My team is my myself and the 31 (or 32) other people who win when I win and lose when I lose.

Not sure where I said that...I use VOIP.....I also use TS for admin stuff and TS for general TPG public stuff.

Anyway....

1- Yes I was on your team
2- I play for fun also. Sitting and deployment is not fun....also when flying into water. I accept your apology personally.

3- as for my TEAM.....My team is myself and the other 31-32 teammates not people...WE win when WE win.....lose when WE lose. Not sure why you said when "I" win and lose when "I" lose. There is no "I" in team.

Would you like to address anything else before I put your vote up?

I personally don't see the need to play the semantics game with my choice of words. Are my teammates not people too? Is the sentiment not clearly the same?

I said "I" because "WE win when WE win.....lose when WE lose" is tautological and rhetorically meaningless.

There is no "we" or "us" in team either. It's just a word whose derivation has nothing to do with any pronouns. Having said that, and because it's amusing, let's consider that when team was first used in this context hundreds of years ago, it was spelled teme or teeme, both of which happen to include "me". Who'da thunk it?

By vote of the BF4 admins your ban has been sustained. You may appeal again in 30 days (6/24).

The vote was close, but ultimately those that voted to sustain didn't believe the sincerity of your apology or acknowledgement of the chain of command. We take our rules seriously and we do not abide by bros-before-hos mentality where you eschew your team in favor of clanmates to the point of destroying team assets because you don't want to fly with someone else as your gunner. Between that and the blatant disregard for the commander's orders, we feel you need to sit for 30 days. We'll take a look again and with proper contrition, you'll be allowed to play on the server again.
