Now we're doing it with cows. Whoopdedoo. Call me when they start genetically engineering people. The last thing we need is a planet full of Ricardo Montalbans all quoting Moby Dick whilst showing off their pecs.

The POS Toyota in your driveway may be the mechanical equivalent of a bacteria compared to a human.
If one day we create a machine that mimics our behaviour perfectly, performs all the same functions, and it stands up and says 'I am alive' (oh how corny) how could we possibly gain-say it? It would perform every function that we did, however we defined life it would fulfil it. It would possibly perform the function through a slightly different method than we did but it would be made of the same essential building blocks of matter as ourselves, it would breathe, eat, sleep, reproduce and grow just as we did. Bar some belief in the supernatural there is little I could see that would deny it the definition of life.
Interesting though the validity of human/machine life is however, (especially since hardly anyone within the scientific community can agree on quite what constitutes 'life,') as I’ve mentioned I fail to see what connection it has to the original topic of cloning. We create clones but they are clearly not mechanical, they have their own demonstrable intelligence, if left to survive without humans they could do so as well as any other member of their species. If you care to draw a distinction between what is mechanical and what is biological then clones fall firmly on the side of biology.

If it's not marked as cloned and not cloned, I'm going vegetarian. It's just wierd and I would never eat it...

It's just like any other food... I have no problems with cloning.
And even if I did, I'd probably remain omnivorous- I like my meat ;)

I got banned again.
Hey guys, sorry to be a pain in the ass but, I got banned by accident yesterday following some moron, insulting me constantly. It turns out from the banning admin that my name was just above his in the "ban list", a player left the server bumping the names down. He hit the wrong number, banning me.
I have spoken to the banning admin, he told me I would be unbanned, but I see no evidence of being unbanned anywhere.
I am not trying to stir shit, I am merely trying to play the game.
My steam ID is
Disconnect: STEAM UserID STEAM_0:1:14714986 is banned.

Re: I got banned again.
Thanks for the PM, I will get in touch with the admin and clarify what happened. Until then, we have (well Digi has) removed you from the banned player listing.
