Re: Request for unbann please
This is my ban.
Starch....you were a one man squad, that had JUST formed, and the first thing you do is initiate a mutiny against me.
For what? I asked as much over the mic.
You had orders, as did all the other squads. All 7 of them, since 3 squads were one man chumps like yourself.
You are in-game, as a squad leader, for mere moments, and you initiate a mutiny.
Your orders that "you negated for the time being" were to move your ass to another silo. I had squads dedicated to attack and defend the silo you were at. I was in communication with them, and I knew they would handle it. YOU took it upon yourself to make up your own view of the map, and what other squads were doing.
You assume that the commander is an idiot, and that you are above his orders.
I'm sure you learned such a habit on other servers, since that's pretty typical of most non-teeamplayer, chump ass servers full of clan faggots, nepotists, isolationists, and "friends over team" mentalities.
That habit, in TTP, get's you banned. As I'm sure you have now learned.
Do you feel it is wise, or teamplayer, to simply ignore orders from your commnader?
You had a mic...you could have said "Roger that commander, I will assist it capturing this silo and then procees to my objective". And I would have said .........wait for it........
"ROGER THAT SQUAD LEADER 7. PROCEED".
I would have supported you. I would have then known that I can count on your to be a squad leader I can multitask with. A REAL DEAL TEAMPLAYER who DOESN'T HAVE HIS EGO UP HIS ASS THINKING HE'S THE ONLY FUCKING GAMER IN THE WORLD THAT KNOWS HOW TO PLAY.
Instead....you initiate a mutiny. I question you on the mic, and you give me a "Your orders are stupid, whatever dude".
Fuck yourself, your friends, your attitude, and your entire existence as a gamer. You are fucking it up for everyone else with your assumptions that we are all inhuman and not worth your time. You are breaking up the cohesion and coordination we have PROVEN can exist in a public environment. You are ruining the game for dozens, hundreds, countless others, by making up your own ideas as to what you're going to do, and when you're going to do it.
If you wish to play at TTP, you will do as the commander says, or you will discuss with the commander how it can be done better. If the commander is a turd (which I am NOT) then you can initiate your mutiny. If it WINS, then YOU can be the commander, and show TTP how it's done. This goes for you rebelling against your squad leader as well.
By all means......if you want to step up and be a leader.....watch us step out of the way as you take the reigns.
But if all you want to do is come in here, push people around, initiate bullshit ass mutinies, refuse to cooperate, and be a general, average, streotypical immature gamer......TTP is not for you.
What's it going to be?

Re: Request for unbann please
big dog u prob havent played with me much nor have we prob ever met on the coms but any of the regulars like gi jeff ,porchzombie, and atexandhisgun and a couple of ur admins like laggy who are usually on at my time can usually contest i do my fair share of team work and i wasnt a newly formed squad but i didnt iniate the vote right away i moved to silo 2 and help defend that but u gave and order to one which i was already 5/6 the way to 4th and thats when u kept ordering on when i was taking 4. then after taking it . it came under attack . dude it would have been fine if u kicked but a ban of a dispute of a mutiny? i didt want to push people around i wanted the team to move and utiliaze its assets to the fullest of it capabilities at the time like i said i felt u werent doing a complete job. the reason i play on your guys server is for the team for the squading up and working to benifit the team.

Re: Request for unbann please
Starch, one thing you need to keep in perspective and let this sink in real good, is that the commander is the one giving the orders and you need to listen to him otherwise it is considered non teamplay. If everyone does whatever the hell they want, the team loses. We cannot have a breakdown in the command structure, otherwise TTP would just be like every other crappy server that lets people do whatever the fuck they like.
Yes, I have squaded with you and also ran a squad under you as commander. I followed all your orders. Would you like it if we ignored what you wanted to do or initiated a mutiny because we don't like your orders.
This is a dictatorship, not a democracy. That is how the military has operated for thousands of years and to do otherwise is ineffective and leads to anarchy. The commander is watching the whole big picture and managing what each squad does, and someone like bigdog KNOWS and EXPECTS what needs to happen for the team to win. Not much need for a commander if squad leaders call the shots. Mass chaos.
Nonteamplay is something the admins are watching very carefully to ensure TTP is a total team orientated experience. Noncompliance results in bans. IF you are unbanned and you see bigdog, SJT, me, or for that matter, ANY REGULAR, as commander, it is advised you either follow orders or play elsewhere where you can do as you please.

Re: Request for unbann please
When you play on TTP, more often than not, an admin is in the leading roles of each side. The admin staff on this server has in the millions of hours of play time across many many games. Your first assumption regarding the commander should be that they have a pretty good idea of what they are doing, especially since they have an overview of the entire battlefield. Did you ever consider the order you were given could possibly been easily accomplished by a one person squad?
No, instead you assumed the commander was an idiot, not to be listened to, and choose to throw down a mutiny vote.
As bigdog said, at the very least you should have COMMUNICATED with your commander why you think you would be of more use somewhere else, or why your pinned down and cannot proceed, or that your held up and will be moving on the order as soon as you are able, or a simple roger, give me a second.
Otherwise, consider each and every order from your commander the word of god and get on it pronto.
Mic use is vital to teamplay, and virtually a requirement of play on the TTP server, its use would have saved you a trip here to the banned forums. Instead you ignored that tool, skipped right to a mutiny, and here you are, where your semi-readable, condescending sounding posts are not helping your case...
If you want to be unbanned you need to make us understand, in a coherent post, that you understand how seriously we take Teamplay here, and how vital it is to a. communicate, b. follow orders, c. and that teamplay does not mean doing what you feel like because you disagree with the commander...

Starch
I will say yes, you have been a qood teamplayer from the times I have seen you my team. More often than not, you have been across from me and I have a hell of a time killing you. That irritates me, but not in a bad way.
However, I was flabbergasted when I saw you initiate a mutiny against BigDog. I can't remember if I was a squad leader that round. But I do know his style of play and his expectations. Extreme, yes. Effective, usually. As my patience is getting shorter with non order taking yo-yo's, I find myself moving that way as well.
But my questions to you, which may or may not be germane to the topic at hand.... How many times have you seen the message scroll across www.texasteamplayers.com GO NOW!
Haven't you ever been curious as to who is providing such a solid server for free? If you had visited the website here previously, you would have seen it is a host for multiple platforms. With absolutely NO advertising around anywhere.
No advertising, no expectations of payments. Solid server, always full outside of school/work hours. Crashes minimal. Glitches not tolerated. Always immediately patched. Awesome latency (for me at least). But no businesses asking for money or trying to sell you on some product or another?
Did you ever wonder WHO was providing this???
It was one of the first things I went searching for shortly after I found TTP. But I'm a little more curious than your average bear.
