Thread: Banned

Hey guys,

1. I was playing yesterday and suddenly this message on top of the screen reads I am going to be banned for teamkills performed three days ago. If I would have been banned on the spot that day, I might have an excuse (or not), but right now I have no idea what teamkills specifically you are talking about.

3. Sure, I have killed teammates before, it happens, you know that, I know that, but I don't get on a server just to perform teamkills and my playing history should show that very clearly.
I like your server. No whining, lots of teamplay, its great. I'd appreciate being unbanned as I would like to continue enjoying the games on your server.

EDIT: While you're at it, I'd also like to know why I was banned specifically, and why this happened three days after the alleged offense occurred.

You were banned after the fact for 2 consecutive Intentional Team Kills on 8/22/07 at approximately 5:10pm CST while playing on the Kubra Dam map. The Team Kills happened near the Intake aircraft hangars.

Please make sure to address your actions in the above reference format for further action.

Seeing that you have not taken the time or interest in replying to our requests for information, I will allow you until tomorrow (Thursday 8/30) at 7:00pm CST to post your information in the correct format. The reply is in the required format, only #4 is missing. That said, I can hardly apologize for something I have no memory of doing. If you ban someone for an infraction, do it right away, not 3 days later. I just find this very disappointing.

What's disappointing, is you killing your own team mates. 1 day later, 5 days later, 4 weeks later, it really doesn't matter.

Post in the proper format and quit wasting our time.

If you can't take the time to make a proper unban post, then why should we take the time to unban you if you don't give a shit?

So what you are saying is that intentional teamkills happen so frequently in your gaming that an incident like this does not stand out in your mind? Let me shed a little more light on your actions to see if it might help "jog" your memory...

You had a sniper rifle. You shot and killed a team member waiting near the hangars (intentional TK #1). Then you proceeded to take aim at another team member and shoot them as well (intentional TK #2). You immediately logged off from the game after the second teamkill in an obvious attempt to escape punishment such as a kick or ban. You were successful in doing so before the server could effect the ban that was issued.

So, what were you saying about teamkills just happen? You just happened to take aim with a sniper rifle and it just happened to go off killing your teammate? Then, it just happened again by accident? Then, you accidentally logged off from the server?

Well, here's the story. There is no statute of limitations on when we can issue discipline for anyone that violates our rules. We have really good memories. So, when you decided to come back and show your face again, you were banned on sight. Your ban was no accident. We waited, you returned, we banned you.

Last chance. Post all of the requested information in the proper format or, as BigHub said so well, quit wasting our time.

The only thing disappointing thing in this thread is... you.
