Re: Banned becuase i am a WMC clan member?
I witnessed this as well and the only thing I could think of is that they may have confused them with RKZ. I'm not sure who the admin was, so I'm guessing they don't play very often.

It appears this was a temporary ban. Rest assured the highs will be investigating this incident and dealing with the responsible admin accordingly. Thank you for your patience and my sincere apologies on behalf of the entire staff for your inconvenience.

I'm Anti-Versus
And theres nothing you can do about it. I love expert and advanced. Its actually a challenge. Not like versus, not saying its not a challenge. But versus takes the main theme of left 4 and throws it away for a quick-paced, ADD fueled BS rush.
The main theme(s): Teamwork - which i know I'll take flak for.(Oh, versus takes soooooo much more teamwork than campaign. You're soooooooo stupid, chuck!)
No. No I'm not. Maybe it takes teamwork to take down a good survivor team as infected but it takes almost no teamwork by the survivors. Alright, heres an example:
a team of four survivors that all have Benellis (auto-shotguns) and just gun it through the levels, which is a tried and true method of winning. A hunter jumps at the survivors, the other three take it down quickly. A smoker grabs a survivor from far away, they either hit the survivor or switch to pistols and take the smoker down. A tank comes - he rips one straggler to shreds. While the tank is beating on the survivor, the other three ditch him/her and make a break for it. Sound familiar, right. They know that they're going to lose, so they just go more quickly and dont stop for anything. Just so they can get a few more points from avg. distance traveled. Its pathetic.
Trust me, if you do that on Expert, you are SO boned. Its a huge load of BS and i say bull crap to versus[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

A lot of people like the competitive aspect of gaming, which is why FPS and RTS are so popular online. It's fun to put your skill against another persons. Coop is a lot of fun, but it isn't the same feeling as playing against people. I like both, but I find versus a little more satisfying in that regard. If you deny an AI boom, it really means nothing, and most of the time no one even notices. If you deny a player boom, even if the other players don't see it, you know that one guy is sitting at his keyboard going "goddamnit..."

If you don't like versus, don't play it. I tend to not have time for a full campaign, so I'll stick to survival and versus.

I'm sorry but campaign basically boils down to corner camping and melee spamming. Mainly because the SI when controlled by AI is dumb as dirt.
A fundamental difference being a hunter smoker combo.
9/10 times a smoker pulls in campaign with a hunter by the hunter will pounce the pulled person. When what happens in VS, and SHOULD happen in campaign is the hunter waits for the person that is coming to save the pulled victim and pounces them. Leading to 2 survivors being immobilized and taking damage.
Not to mention only shitty teams rush levels, points for distance traveled doesn't mean shit if your team doesn't make it to the safe room. My team rarely doesn't make it to the safe room and we don't run like idiots. Most competitive teams don't either, since vs is about pts you get more points for your health bonus. Meaning searching for kits/pills is a smarter way to get points than running and hoping.
Campaign isn't difficult all it does per "difficulty" level is ramp up CI/SI dmg done. Their tactics still suck, they still play like people with lobotomies etc. There are only so many times I can camp a corner spamming melee before I fall asleep.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

There's this special infected called the Boomer. Try it some time. There's also this concept called teamwork. Try that while you're at it rather than sending special infected to the survivors one at a time, as stated in your lovely example.

Being a competitive person, I find VS much more satisfying. Getting the chance to play as infected is what brings a whole new strategy to VS that you don’t get on a campaign. Your entitled to your opinion, but all your arguments about VS only applies if you have a team that doesn’t know what they're doing. Once you get a regular group of 8 or so people you always play with it gets really interesting, and anything can happen.
