XD yay i want my jacket

about the rock throw, its speed does mean that its usefulness can vary. i mean yea, sometimes it can be as u say, 25 damage in exchange for 1000 tank health.
but in other situations, ive found that it can be murderous. i mean, one time i got to be the tank on swamp fever you know where the crashed plane horde attack is? i climbed up on the plane and was lobbing rocks at them. was being quite nasty with my rocks as well. couple of survivors tried to come up the log behind me to get a better shot but they just met me fist :P and were sent hurtling into the horde below them, where upon i continued my rock throwing.
my teammates were harrasing them rather spectacularly as well, and in the end i hopped down from my plane to deal some hurt to the remaining unincapped survivors up close.

the rock throw's speed is... yea, varied in fairness XD sometimes its useless, other times like above, its great

the ground pound idea would be nice, the SI can always use more attacks, but the 70 damage would be a bit too much. i can see most people using the attack to deal damage instead of to catch survivors. i'd probably keep the damage at 25, so it is mainly used to catch runaway survivors as you intended, and isn't instant death to survivors stuck in close quarters.

    just my 2 cents :)
build a man a fire and he will be warm for the night,
set a man on fire and he will be warm for the rest of his life.

here you go XD*tosses a jacket*

yeah i did something similar to that in the first L4D on the death toll finale.
the survivors were camping on top of a rock which nullified hordes rather well. that and i was the only person on the infected team somehow.
anyways when the tank rolled by. i found a good piece of cover and hurled rock after rock at them. i managed to do some serious damage before they were forced to jump off and be clobbered. ahh..good times :)

unfortunately i have yet to find a good rock bombardment place as a tank whenever it comes around. so usually im forced to charge in once my teammates provide an adequate distraction, and even then that can be resolved with a bile bomb or pipe bomb at times.
