banned
I was banned from Texas team players servers some weeks ago and the reason given when i try to log on is Excessive Team Killing. The actual reason is because i didn't follow orders when commander (ADMIN) gave them, was clearing snipers from assets so we would have necessary tools. I spawned there and saw them so i decided to clear. Normally i would follow orders but i was there and so were they and someone needed to do it. I don't have screenshots or any of that stuff, i didn't even think to document names and such as i didn't see the ban coming, my login name here is my name in game. I tried to explain to commander but was not quick enough.
I have been playing online games for years and Battlefield since it started, i enjoy your servers simply because of the teamwork aspect, plus it is at top of my lists always, im in Arlington Texas. I believe i deserved a warning, which i got, and maybe even a kick for not listening after that. Being banned for a false reason is not deserved. The commander not taking into account my actions for not following orders, was a little disconcerting as well. I am from a military family, i know about following orders and teamwork, its how ive been raised. I also know that a commander doesn't always see the whole picture and to jump the gun was a bit harsh, considering i was not able to respond in my defense.
Thank you for your consideration.

Re: banned
Giving just a link isn't saying anything...
Storm, click the link that Panic provided and read that. Base your Unban Request in an orderly manner, and if you need to.. Look around at other people's threads to see how its done.
We do this so it's easier to find information and what not. Thanks.

Re: banned
I bet if you had of communicated with your commander that there were snipers on the hill and you were clearing them out, he would have said, "very well, as soon as you are done there move to here or attack this squad." All it takes is a little communicating.
What else is a commander suppose to do when he issues an order to go south and you go north without communication of why you are disobeying orders?
Post in the correct format and we will go from there. Don't forget to give us a link to your stats from www.bf2s.com

Re: banned
1. I was banned for not following orders. Punkbuster actually says i was banned for excessive team killing.
2. I was on a TTP Northern Strike server on a weekend and i am not really sure who the commander was, he was also an Admin as it was him who said he was kicking me. I'm sorry, I don't write down names of people from the game unless they are padding or glitching.
3. I would like to be unbanned, because contrary to preceding events i am a very good team player. I believe i will be an asset to the game as a whole.
4. I am usually a team player but given certain circumstances i disobeyed a direct order. I didn't communicate in a timely fashion and therefore appeared to be out of line. I have since updated hardware and can now communicate without typing and will do all in my power to follow orders. I would like the chance to prove that i am a team player, it is too hard to find solid squads who stick together and work as a team. I apologize and make every effort to be a Team Player.

here is my profile page off Battlefield Website, i believe i got it correct. Stormwalker73

Re: banned
StormWalker if this is the message you got, this is a temporary ban from PB. Have you tried to reconnect to the server? Give it a shot and let us know.
I also notice that you have 4 posts and they are all related to this thread. You should consider familiarizing yourself with TTP and how we do things. We have great servers and a great forum with lots of good information. Take some time to look around and get involved.

So for you to be there, disobeying orders and taking care of it yourself, the commander is now short 2 squads on the field, instead of one.
coming from a "military family" and justifying why it's ok to disobey orders, saying you've got a better grasp of what's really going on than the commander, is not teamplayer.

Re: banned
I admit i was not listening to commander, regardless of reason, i don't deny it and have apologised and reposted my intent to never let it happen again.
I keep reposting because i am asked or suggested to do it a different way and to check other unban requests. I was banned for not listening and found out that by default, if no reason is given, punkbuster automatically calls it excessive team killing. I read this on other posts not 100% sure about it, i am banned, can't log onto any TTP servers.
I am just trying to get unbanned and will keep up with the posts and reposts until i prove my persistence and compliance with these requests reflects how much i want the unban.

Can you remember anything more specific about the time period and map you were banned in?
January? February? March?
A NS map or regular map?
Anything you can think of would be helpful.
---You last played on 01/16/08 8:59 PM on the 2142 main server. So, that should be when you were banned.enf-Jesus its been like 12 minutes and you're already worried about stats?! :-P
Bigdog-Sweet home Alabama you are an idiot.
