Thread: Banned for watching a TK???

#1. Why do you think you got banned?

I was flying transport helos with my squad. Another player climbed into a LittleBird and performed an endless number of low passes over our blackhawks.. preventing us from taking off. One of my squadmates lit him up with a door gun, out of pure frustration. All four on my squad were killed by the same person minutes later when he lit up our chopper with an AA gun. I admittedly did take a few pot shots at the chopper, but did not get a TK. The player continued to make passes over us after being told to back off, and shot at, until the door gunner finally took him out. I am assuming I got banned for trash talking him and claiming partial responsibility for the TK.

#2. What server were you on? What admin do you believe banned you? What admins were there playing?

I was on PR Kashan Desert (unsure of server) Player name BlueBadger
Not sure of which admin kicked me, to be honest... laggyandgroovy sounds familiar???.

#3. Why should you be unbanned?

I have been playing on TTP since I started with PR 0.5. I just want to play with mature people, that's why I pick TTP and usually wait to play until the server fills up. I am not one to participate in intentional TK's. I got banned for 0 actual TK's, the other guy stayed with 4 intentional TK's.

#4. A written statement that you will refrain from doing anything that will get you banned again.

As stated before TTP is my favorite server, period. I only play PR. I mix well with the players and have always performed with exceptional adherence to rules and tactics. I will say that it was wrong of me to trash talk the offending player and let off rounds at him. My frustration got the better of me and I apologize for my conduct. It is not typical for me at all, if anyone here knows me from in game.

I was your banning amin. Your story is accurate in my opinion and you got banned for admitting to contributing to a team kill.

I was not present at the airfield when this occurred but I heard it over VOIP from the commander at the time and I went and looked at the chat logs. I saw you admitting in chat to contributing to the teamkill and it was this evidence that prompted me to ban you.

All I need from you is for you to add your BF2 stats link and, unless you want to say anything more, I can get a vote up to the admins.

Yea I saw this happen at the airfield. To be honest I was 50/50 on this one. It was more like Blue was shooting at the guy trying to get him to leave but then went all the way and took him down when he didnt. Besides after that tk the guy that blue shot down, himself, shot down a blackhawk with four guys in it, Teamkilling them all and typed up "Bitches" "whos laughing now", which kinda says something about his character.

I'm not much of a stat junkie, as I haven't played Vanilla for more than about ten minutes in a long time. All I play is PR to get away from Vanilla nOOBs, and as you know... no stats with PR. I promote PR and TTP to all my friends and have started a small clan, which primarily plays on the TTP server. In my defense... well... I'm a 30 year old cop with little reason to BS or sugar coat. Someone was ruining my 30-45 minutes of fun time on my favorite usually idiot-free server and I lost my composure. My bullets weren't the death blow, but I sure helped. To be honest, I actually tried to dissuade the door gunner from completely blowing up the chopper. I know to go through the admins in further.
