Thread: Banned and I do not know why?

I am not sure what got me (STEAM_0:06172173) last night. I did not see a post or follow-up message. I was carrying the bomb to plant it and ->BLAM<- I saw a "kicked/banned" notice in the middle of my screen.

I parked CSS a long time ago due to all the hackers, accusers and general punks that were rampant in the game. My brother got me to reinstall a few weeks ago and start playing again.

Any honest response would be welcome at this point, as I am curious why I got the boot.

At first I assumed it was a kick to let a paid slot fill-in, but here it is, nobody in the server, and I cannot join.

Please let me know.

72.233.44.146:27015 is the server IP address. I do not know what the Top5 would be, but I do not think it was that one.

I cannot remember the map name, but it was one with a fountain that the T's run up a cobblestone street to the left to set the bomb. The other bomb spot (that I was running like mad to) is outside by some apartments with a dog that barks when you pass by (upstairs). The bomb spot itself looks like an outside dry storage with 2 open sides.

I think it was around 10:30 PM CST, not positive, April 5.

Thanks for clarifying. That's the main server, and the map you're describing is inferno.

Please continue to be patient. I'm sure the banning admin will be with you shortly to address this.

(btt) Is it possible a previous, uncontested ban lingers? I searched and found none.

Any progress on this yet? Hitch is my brother. He played BF2 and BF2142 a lot and likes that game because of the team/squad aspect, so would like to stay on TTP because teamplay is encouraged. He hasn't played in a while, and doesn't know "banana" is A rather than "b" (B for banana would make sense to somebody who was trying to guess where banana was). Anyway, just curious.

Anyway, I cannot remember the exact bump-time, except that it was most likely between 9:30pm and 10:30pm CST. I may have missed a call or 2 because of either my Chris LeDoux cd or just my "zone".

I may have been running my headphones too low and missed a "hey...where the **** are you going?!!". I will gladly turn down my spittin' music if it will get me back in the saddle here.
