Thread: Why?

I have never seen Ownage.HN play before and I know that sometimes player's stats can jump for various reasons, some legit and some not.


You made yourself suspicious when you tell us what you think we want to hear, not using the AWP. (While pyschostats doesn't keep track of when you used different weapons at what times, it does show that teh AWP is by far your weapon of choice.) Then you go on to talk about how you don't know why you were banned. Why talk about not using the AWP if you don't know why you were banned? It seems like you do know. Then you top it off with saying that the admin was in the wrong becuase he didn't know that you were "cleared of hacks or what not".


Your post alone is enough to make me think that you deserved to be banned. But there are some players that have come to your defense. While we encourage all players to post their opinions and we respect those opinions, I tend to trust the players with more hours on the server:

I was something like 70:5 when I got banned, and used an M4A1 for 5 minutes prior to being banned. I wasn't supposed to be banned because I wasn't considered a hacker. One could conclude that that's why I didn't know why I got banned, but it was an obvious idea that I felt like I didn't need to state.

Hours on a particular server have nothing to do with experience of players that know what a hacker is when they see it. Your point is ineffective, geeseven.

I don't know of any cheaters that would complain on the forums, because that's one server out of an indefinite amount of servers they could hack in.

Most of the servers I go to, I get 5+:1 kill death ratios and 90%+ headshots. I try to use the AWP as much as possible so I won't get banned for getting too many headshots with AK47 or M4A1; which is what happened with most of the servers I've been banned from.

What I dislike most of all is people that don't even know what a cheater looks like from the spectator point of view, what to look for in a cheat, the particular details. In hacks, the crosshairs have to be on the hitboxes in order to be effective. The crosshair locks onto a particular coordinate on the hitbox. Also, recoil removal hooks make the crosshair bob in a particular way that's synthetic, and unable to copy manually. And if done manually, won't produce the same result because it's not only the movement of the crosshair that's being tampered with, it's the actual spread of the bullets that are being vectored as well.
