    requesting to be unbanned

    1. I am requesting to be unbanned from your BF2/PR server.
My ID/KEY is ("grunt1" DO NOT EVER GIVE OUT YOUR CD KEY) I was banned from your Project Reality/BF2 server last year and i believed it to be a server ban after my mines blew up a com truck full of troops and then a friendly APC. Apparently it was not a server ban because I am still unable to log on the server to this date.
    2. I was not aware of any admins at the time nor was i given any warning prior to my banning to my knowledge.
    3. I am a team oriented player who abides by server rules as well as anyone. I have never been banned on any BF2 or PR server except yours, please check punkbuster web site to verify. I am a regular on Tactical Gamer and strongly believe in team/ fair play. At the time of my ban my friend had his own PR server so i never bothered to go to your forums to be unbanned because I hardly played on your server.
    4. I am humbly requesting a lift on the ban from your Project Reality server because I have been playing more lately and the fact is that your server is one of the few remaining well monitored, reliable servers to play on. I accept all wrong doings at the time of the ban and I am not making excuses, and in the future I will refrain from doing any activities that my result in another ban from your server. Thank you for taking the time to read my request and I hope to be Playing on your server soon.

    grunt1,

I modified your post and edited out your CD Key. What we were requesting was your CD key hash. Those are two very different things. Your CD key hash is only useful in finding your ban and that is how your ban is stored but your CD key can be used to steel your copy of BF2. Do not ever give out your CD key to anyone. Not an admin, not anyone.

We need a link to the BF2 stats for the banned player profile. I do not see grunt1 on the banned list. Was there a clan tag before your name?

    VIRUS.... Are you serious...

From just about any stand point of view, don't you think your name just might get you deleted or banned?

that is my BF2 clan, although i have not played BF2 since i started playing PR i might have had that prefix at the time of my banning. I don't use that prefix in PR anymore, but i don't see how that prefix could be offensive or grounds for a banning?

Ok, so enlighten us. What does your clan you were/are/maybe affiliated with stand for?

    VIRUS = _________?

When I see that word, I block it, ban it, delete it, expel it, and neutralize it.

You seem to remember an account of some TK's as well.... I am willing to bet that you got an Admins attention by a number of PUNISHED tk's and your name reference probably didn't help your case very much, unless you don't see anything wrong with that either.

You are not a member here, you don't particiapate here, and after you were banned, you dissapeared and now you are back and here we are.

Glad to here you don't reference yourself as a "virus" anymore.

    Re: requesting to be unbanned

basically they were a good group of people that hosted a public server that i had a very good ping on and when i moved it was one of the only BF2 servers i could even play on because of a really bad DSL/ISP! I joined the clan because i played on their server a lot and they were very fair and there was no favoritism for clan members on their PUB. I am not sure about the origins of the "virus" name but i think it had to do w/ the clan is growing and spreading like a virus....or something along those lines. Granted I can see how some people would see the tag virus and think oh no my computer but I can assure you it has no reference to hacking or cheating in any way.

    Re: requesting to be unbanned

Grunt I need for you to get us your CD hash. You can go here http://www.battlefield.no/filer/pafi...on=file&id=194. You will need to put your CD key into the line where it says CD key in order to get you hash. Once you get that post it up here. Once I get that I will get a vote up for you with the admins.

***edit*** Grunt I was informed we have your info. I will get your vote up now. It will take no longer than 3 days. If the ban is upheld you can appeal after 30 days.
