Unban request by PS
Ooops, now that's a new one - I got banned!
First of all, this is pretty much my first time on a TTP COD4 server. I recognized the name from BF2142 - one of the few servers where people actually work in Squads and use microphones. WOW!
BF2142 didn't survive the latest patch on my PC and I have been playing COD4 lately. Today on the TTP server where people use mics as well (even tried the eavesdrop perk).
So, here's the unban request following the 4 points:
1) Why?
I was equipped with claymores and the .50 cal, blocking 5+ people from getting to HQ. Last thing I remembered doing was running down the stairs from the top and shooting an admin (?) in the head, who was probably typing.
Maybe for not going for the objective? With 8 on 8, it doesn't make sense for everyone to run to HQ... A nade took out five people that game! I was covering an area, and yes, fooling around with a sniper rifle on Crash.
Not sure...
2) server
The one and only TTP COD4 server.
3) unban, why?
I was not aware for doing anything that bad to deserve an immediate ban, nor did I see any messages directed at me, stating that I was breaking important rules. TTP servers rock and I really would like to continue playing on them.
4) Please?
So here's my request. I'm a teamplayer and I care about this TTP server enough to create a profile on the forum and post this thread.
Oh, and either way, could I please know what I did?
I don't remember saying or typing anything. A TK too many perhaps?
It's been a while...

Re: Unban request by PS
You have been warned multiple times by multiple admins for camping. Camping is a fine line in COD4 but you were constantly "covering the HQ" and never really going for the cap yourself. There were several admins present and complaints from both teams. Covering your team can be an asset but I would suggest that you not ALWAYS be the one doing it. It tends to piss off your teammates that are working very hard, and possibly dieing alot in the process, to complete the objective while you just sit and rack up kills.
Do you recall being on top of 3 story and receiving a warning.....and being in blown out building overlooking 2 story and being warned yet again?

Sorry, I must have missed the written warnings completely.
The game was pretty intense and I tried staying alive.
Yes, that's probably the most annoying having a teammate try to win the game in HQ by holding back.
I apologize if I did that too much on that level.
Now I know why, and it's something I definitely don't do often.
Rules that require players to go for the objectives is the #1 reason I'd like to continue playing on this TTP server.
Requesting to get unbanned.
PS: Can the admins be recognized by a common tag? I wasn't even aware there were any admins on the server at that time.

Re: Unban request by PS
Thanks for the clarification.
It's an interesting concept - undercover cops. Makes perfect sense. I was expecting a clan tag though...
I'm used to BF2142 servers that had admins watch every player with a 3rd party mod. The second I had come to an uncap (with my recon kit) I got a little message reminding me of the rules... COD4 seems a bit too fast paced for that though...
Anyway, I fully understand that my actions were against what the TTP servers are about. The reason why I don't care about normal servers without any specials runs.
Thanks for voting on my unban request.

Sorry for the delay. Your ban has been overturned by vote of the CoD admins; you should be free to reconnect to the server at any time. Let me know if you have any problems.
