Thread: A Moment Of Your Time

Almost 2 months ago i was playing on the TF2 Texas Team Players server enjoying myself and the server when i was suddenly without warning banned with the message "not being a team player", for apparently typing the first 2 lines to "still alive"

Now at the time i figured well I can kinda see where the admin is coming from, it seemed rather heavy handed but ok.

Now 2 whole months later I am still banned and unable to access the server. Banned for over 60 days for typing the first 2 lines to Johnathan Coultan's still alive seems rather ridiculous and a ham fisted reaction to such a minimal offense. I feel that it also reflects poorly on the fine people that run the server to have its polite patrons treated in such a manner.

I humbly beg of you gentlemen or ladies whomever you may be to lift my ban if you so feel that it was not warranted as i myself do. But if you do find it so warranted for such a minor offense then by all means let it stand.

But all i ask is that you please reconsider.

I was your banning admin. I remember this ban.

Are you sure that is the entire version of events that you care to recall?

Also, your unban request is missing a number of things that you will need to add before I put up a vote.

Why do you think you got banned?: I honestly don't know, i originally believed it was for typing out the first 2 lines of "Still Alive" but the banning admin said it was some other reason so i have no idea why.

What server were you on?:

The TF2 Texas Team Players server and the banning admin was apparently Arreo.

Why should you be unbanned?:

If you look at my VAC history, its pretty clean I've only been banned from one other server ever which was a counter strike server for being from a rival clan. If you want credentials you can look at the zombie master forums which is a half life 2 modification that is in the top 10 spots for popularity, the devs there can vouch for me, and they're quite the respectable bunch.

A written statement that you will refrain from doing anything that will get you banned again:

As soon as I find out why I was banned I promise never to do it again, and apologize for whatever it was. I'm not some evil person bent on destroying another's gaming experience, or some wild anarchist just a regular bloke who likes gaming.
