Thread: I GOT BANNT... PLES HALP

hey could someone please unban me? i'm not quite sure what i did, but i'm sorry for whatever it was.. i'm new to the servers/css and would like to keep playing in them.

If you're new to CSS, then you came to just the right place to learn! You won't find any better server to play counter-strike on. I can guarantee it. I started playing counterstrike in February of 2007. TTP was the first place I found...and it's now the only place I play.

Sorry you had to start off on such bad footing by being banned. However, in order to become unbanned, there are certain protocol that you must follow:

First off, the proper place to ask to be unbanned is here:

Secondly, in order to post here, you must follow a certain format.
Read this (http://www.texasteamplayers.com/index.php?topic=259.0) and post following the guide it gives you. If you don't know how to get your steam ID, go in any server, type "status" in console (get to console by pressing either esc or ~), find your name, and copy the number listed beside it. It should read as STEAM_X:X:XXXXXXX (where X's are numbers).

hi, i'm new to css and recently got banned from your ttp css server (not the top5 or custom). so i will do my best to write this request properly.. i believe it happened around 1 am on sunday on a map with some docks (and a boat was a bombsite).. i'm not familiar with the map but i think that i was exploring and not team playing.. therefor i got kicked/banned. as for the admins playing.. well i have no clue who they were.. what i do know is that whatever i did was certainly unintensional. i really enjoy the teamplay aspect of your servers.. i hope to get into cal again at some point and feel your servers are a great place to practice.. it was not my intension to offend anybody and i promise to obey the rules in the future. my steam id is STEAM_0:0:1429341

So i got banned a week or so ago in ur css server. I have no idea who did it. It was late at night and i was getting tired. The map was port and i was brand new to it. I started exploring it, and then before i knew it i was kicked/banned. Perhaps this is not the reason i got banned. However, this is what i saw from my perspective. If it is incorrect it would be nice for whoever banned me to explain what happened. I would really like to continue playing in your servers, and i apologize for whatever i did. STEAM_0:0:1429341

You already started a thread about this so no need to make another.. simply bump your prior thread. An admin will probably merge the 2 when they have time.

Also... Noid if your learning CSS or common maps... its nice that you want to do it on TTP's servers. However bear in mind that TTP is built around teamwork oriented gaming so "new" players who are learning how to play or learning the maps often times are not working with their team and get kicked, slayed, or banned because of it. While TTP in no means wishes to discourage new players trying to learn the game... i would recomend perhaps learning on less serious servers... and then coming back to TTP to experience the game in a teamwork environment.
