Thread: Ban Appeal

Hello,
Probably a month ago my account was banned from the Texas Team Players Project Reality server. As the rules dictate:

#1) I say that my account was banned rather than "I was banned" because I was not even the one playing. I used to play on Texas Team Players a lot and enjoyed it as one of the few PR servers where people work together and play the game. I came in one day to find my little brother playing on my computer. Sometimes he will play old school BF2, but somehow he had managed to start up PR this time. After realizing it was much harder than the vanilla version he resorted to the common BF2 practice of teamkilling, probably 3 or 4 in a row before getting himself (and my account) banned from your server. Needless to say I was upset, but too late.

#2) It was the TTP PR server, but I don't know the date or what other admins were playing. It was some time ago as I have not had much time to play lately anyway. My BF2 name is ShughartDF and here is the link to my old stats: http://www.bf2s.com/player/62367003/ My player number is seen as 62367003. I tried the BF2 hash program but it says it can't read my CD. And yes, it's a legal copy.

#3) I am appealing the ban because I would like to play and have fun on your server. I like PR because it keeps a lot of the spamming, TKing noobs away, and I refrain from this activity in PR also. I play on other PR servers ocasionally and don't have TK problems there either. This was a one time problem not in my control, as seen in #1.

#4) see #3. I will not intentionally TK any players while playing PR. I'm here to play the game. Period.

You were banned on June 9, 2008 for 6 punished tk's and it was an auto ban done by the server. While your request was properly formatted and well written I do have to ask you one question.

How many time do you think we hear the "my little brother got me banned" story. I am not calling you a liar but you have got to imagine that we deal with little brother ban stories all the time. Give me a reason we should believe you in this case?

i'm actually surprised you hear it that often, people are fairly creative i guess. i don't know what kind of proof I could give you, but my appeal should check out because it was one isolated incident. i mean, if i was constantly getting kicked for TKs or always being a problem then it would be hard to believe that my brother was always the "one" controlling it. but every other time, and since on the TG server, i don't have issues like that. Like I told you, I'm here to play the game and that's what I always do. If I feel like TKing for the jet I can always go play Dalian Plant or some crap like that with all the other noobs.
