Banned from CS:S 1:45 AM Est, 8/6/08

So I was just banned, and would like to become unbanned, as well as place a complaint about an admin.

#1. Why do you think you got banned?

There was a player named Duddy who kept calling the other team "pussies," etc, for using Awps during a close match up during Cbble. I told him that he was whining, and got kicked and banned.

#2. What server were you on? What admin do you believe banned you? What admins were there playing?

Was not aware that you had multiple servers until i joined the forums, but I believe it to be the CSS server without custom maps. Duddy was the one whom I believed banned me, but it could have been one of his buddies. Another EVO (?) member was on, and several other players from a guild with Arabic looking tags (One who I know was an admin for slaying me for quick switching (hard habit to break)).

#3. Why should you be unbanned?

Most of the players I played / talked to seemed like nice players, and I like team games sometimes. But Duddy was talking shit to our team, cussing at us, and all I did was tell him that he was whining. You can check the logs, I've put the date / time in the title, so it shouldn't be too hard. Never once did I call anyone a name, or use a cuss word. I didn't really think that warranted an instant kick / ban. I can understand being an Admin, and not wanting anyone to usurp your authority, but acting childish by calling names and kick / banning people seems like a silly way to handle things. Especially when I instigated nothing.

#4. A written statement that you will refrain from doing anything that will get you banned again.

I'm a pretty level headed guy, and I try not to break rules. If there was something I did specifically to warrant a ban, please let me know and I'll give a written statement regarding the said incident.

Thanks for posting correctly. I can assure that you were not banned for personal reasons, by me or any other admin for it is against TTP policy for admins to do so. Also, trash talking is allowed here at TTP, it is in the motd as you enter the server and like I said, no one here at TTP gets banned because of a personal grudge or vendetta. I am consulting with the other admins that were on last night and will get back to you soon.

I was your banning admin. You said something that was uncalled for when the admin told the players that Quickswitching and Bunny Hopping was Not Permitted on our servers. You were warned not to quickswitch and you did. This got you slayed for breaking our rules. A couple rounds later there was another player that was bunny hopping and he was told not to at which point you made a remark that was along the lines of "God Whine Much??" This is what ultimately got you banned. We DO NOT let players undermind our admins here at TTP. Your comment ultimately showed that you have little if NO Respect for the admins/players here at TTP. In which case I showed you the door! I nor do the other admins in this community put up with players who smart off to admins. It is the quickest way to get banned from our servers.

I will get your vote up and will let you know the outcome in no more than 3 days. The outcome of the vote will be posted here in this thread.

My whining comments were directly related to Duddy complaining about awps, and the logs will show that.

I tried the entire night to stop quickswitching and was slayed everytime, but I stayed in the server regardless. Didn't that tell you that I wanted to be there? Its a hard habit to break.

I never made any comments about Bunny hopping, as I know in principal how it works, but can't perform it. Any comments I made about quickswitching were to understand the rule, not complaints.

You are lucky that you were slayed an not banned after the first instance. Normally a player is banned after they are warned about quickswitching. I would be careful about QSing in our servers. Next time you may not be slayed. May I suggest unbinding "q". That will solve your problem with QS on our servers.
