I've been banned for 60 mins.
i dont know who did it, but the admins on the server at the time were: JAN, and Jason Jinx.
I did nothing wrong, i was on piranesi in the middle when i killed the bomber and died. after i died i was typing something and it said i was kicked and banned for 60 mins. what did i do?

You were banned because you vote is not conluded in the forums. You are still banned until the result is posted in the forums that you can access. The rules apply to everyone. There is a process of how things are run here and the both of us know that. You should not be playing on the server at all until you are givin the ok that you are unbanned.

one more thing, if there is a 3 day vote, and the vote started on the 30th, and its the 4th, well you get the point.

RE: ???
Grey, to be honest, I am not sure that there is still a vote going on, but according to this post:
http://texasteamplayers.com/index.ph...ewtopic&t=6506
It shows that it only has been two days. What you did seems noble to you, but so did the enron people and the HP people now...

Those guys thought they were doing good for the company, yet are going to jail.
As for Jason, how would he know about your pm's? He can't read your private messages. I am sure he is just doing his job. Obviously if Bigdog says you are a go, then you are a go, but you know the procedure...
According to this request under localmonster:

There has not been any conclusion. If there were, usually there is a post here.
I am writing here because I feel fairly strongly about this situation and it left a bad taste in my mouth. I would be patient to make sure everything is clear.

RE: ???
The vote about your status as a reg on the server has not concluded - sometimes we take more than three days - in this case - that is the case.
You're being treated just as any other banned - except your situation is much more complicated.....as you decided to ignore direct advice to stay out of the situation you put yourself into with Px. Some of the admins, including myself, no longer trust you.
Until your situation is resolved we'll keep your ban in place as it should have been from the start - and will update this thread with the outcome of our discussions.

RE: ???
As per the vote in the CS admin forums, your ban is removed. Jason acted properly, however NOT according to the reflection of the vote itself (it was winning by a margin INCAPABLE OF BEING SWAYED......meaning everyone knew he was being unbanned, regardless of how many more days it took to "finish" the vote).
Jason is not at fault, since he's doing his job as dictated by the forum. Grey is not at fault, since.....for some reason, his ID wasn't banned properly in the CS server. Can't explain that, other than.......maybe it wasn't saved properly.
regardless. Ban was in place. Vote took place. Vote indicates ban removed. Grey is free and safe to play on the server.
As per a request from him to regain his moderation powers over his clan, I reinstated his permissions as a mod.
this is a simple case of the high admins dropping the ball when it comes to starting and stopping ban votes/ID's/status updates.
but....if anything good comes out of it......we at least know that 60-min bans are functioning. And that's a new thing for us.
