The fact remains that this is simply his word vrs my word... and as you said, an admins word will beat a players word any day of the week. HOWEVER, think about where this leads. If someone is banned simply on the word of an admin with no proof, how is that just? Admins are not perfect themselves. Admins make mistakes in various forms, from mis-interpreting things, to thinking they heard things that were never said, to miss-remembering events, and so on and so forth. This is why bans should require PROOF to be upheld. Sadly there are even admins who abuse their power. As carefull as TTP is with selection of their admins, they are not beyond having admins who make mistakes and sometimes abuse their power. The admin abuse section on the forums proves this simply by existing.

I was not angry at the time of the switch by the admin (now identified as scrum) and had no reason to go off on him... im not some fool... and would of recognized what that would cause. I find it hard to believe that scrum would purposely doctor what i said to make it sound as horrible as it appears, so my only conclusion is that he thought he heard something that never was said. Its an easy mistake to make, when your in warmup round and you have intro music, other people talking, goofing around, and other such things. Ive been switched plenty, why would i suddenly go off to that degree. What hes saying i said is so outragous, so severe that even when im angry i dont think i would ever come close to taking it that far.

All im asking is for folks to realize that there is no proof here and that its scrums word vrs mine. Scrum is human, he makes mistakes im sure, and im not going to go down for something i KNOW i did not do. Sorry to scrum but im not taking the heat for something that i did not do.
I agree with you Slippy, admins make mistakes all the time. I have made mistakes and own up to them when I do. I have no problem with that. However there are two issues here.

#1 Nearly our entire admin staff witnesses that you play the easy side of the map the overwhelmingly majority of the time. Your HLStats will show this. 55% CT to 45% T to, which doesn't look like much but if you dove into it I'd bet you'll find most of your time on T is spent on the easier maps D2, Italy or Port. I rarely have seen you go T on maps such as Nuke, Cbble, Inferno or Aztec until you have already solidified your above 2:0 K:D and the map is well into the time. Players can play whatever side they like but players that have a skill set higher than most should be honorable and take the harder side the majority of the time - Ask Killer Bunny Mofo. When players don't do this after a long period of time we as admins can take action to manually move players as we see fit to encourage players of higher skill to take the initiative and not worry about their K:D so much.

#2 That leads me to why you were banned. Players that are true ttper's would look at the team switch as a challenge, not complain because they need to lead or assist the harder side of the map. When I came in I specifically heard you complaining about the admin's decision to move you (using F bombs). This shows me that you aren't interested at all in anything but protecting your K:D and also shows me you have a lack of respect for our admins and their decisions. We can't allow that at TTP.

Have you ever thought you made the mistake instead of me? I'm 100% positive on what I heard. If I did make a mistake Slippy I would be happy to admit it. I gave you a chance to help yourself out and just come clean. But you couldn't do it. By an overwhelming decision the admin community has voted to sustain your ban.

exactly. Just as if it was a police officer saying you were speeding, and you saying you weren't.

    do you agree with that?

Further, given your previous reasons for "leaving TTP"

I agree its a silly reason to leave.. but then again its not the only reason hes leaving.. it was just the final straw. While i still visit TTP forums.. i left TTP servers because i simply couldnt stand certain admins who were so high and mighty and drunk with power that they acted like douches to almost everyone.
this has become a repeat issue with you. Looking at the big picture....given that 1000's of players come in and out of our servers everyday, most especially in the CSS universe........why you?

    why you again?

why this issue, with YOU, again?

And so to be clear... it's not just "your word" against an admins. It's a disgruntled, former regular with a past history coming in, and making a stink. I don't care if it was scrum's first day on the job...his word carries more than yours.
