Re: Unban Request
Thank you for posting in the proper format, Red Dot.
It should be noted that regardless of how ridiculous an order may seem to you, on TTP you are fully expected to follow it to the best of your ability. If you really feel an order is unnecessary, you can ask the commander to reconsider or offer a different course of action on the side. It may seem a bit ridiculous now, but you wont think so when you personally step up to be commander and you have squads ignoring your orders because they feel they have a better plan. Without enforcing these team play ideals, we are no different than the general yahoo fight for yourself servers out there.
Your banning admin will be with you shortly. If there is anything else you would like to add on the subject or say to your banning admin, please do so to this thread.

You have a problem with that, then you can go play single player, or go get lucky finding another server out there in the dying world of 2142. Here, just as you'd expect your squad and your SL's to follow your orders....we expect you to follow theirs. don't be one of those people who starts lecturing others how to play the game. You don't like "foolish orders" and think you can do better? Then be the commander next round. Or be a SM, and let some more patient SL deal with the issue.

Re: Unban Request
Please link your stats so we can review them.
Once you have done that, an unban vote will begin in the admin forums to determine if you will be allowed back on the server or not. This vote will take no more than three days to complete and may end much sooner.
In the meantime, I highly suggest you review the expectations we have for players on our servers. Following orders to the highest degree is a cornerstone for why TTP exists. There are few things that will get a player into more trouble than not following orders. We run a highly competitive server with the purpose of providing an experience that far exceeds the tempo of the average server. If you feel you are not willing or unable to abide by such requests, as mentioned above, you have the privilege to play elsewhere.

Re: Unban Request
It was on your VBF2 server, not 2142. Stats : http://bf2s.com/player/148151638/
I regret making the decision to not follow the commander's order. I know there is no excuse in TTP. However, I was waiting for my squad ("RECON") to spawn on me on the US carrier (China team) and the commander told me to suicide. I told him to cool it and I got banned. I thought the ban was a bit unwarranted, especially with no warning.

Your vote will go up in the BF2 admin forums. Please review this thread periodically as we will use it to update you concerning your ban.

Re: Unban Request
H.K.-G36C-Red-Dot,
The admins have voted to unban you.
Please be aware we expect players to follow orders given by the commander at all times. If you feel an order is unreasonable or given the situation needs to be amended, please communicate that using your mic to the commander. However, if they overrule you, we expect you to pursue the objective or die trying.
Never tell the commander to "shut it" because you don't like the order. We have many admins who play this game, and at any given time they may be in your squad or commanding. So it is in your best interest to make sure you are being a team player.
Please be aware future bans for any infraction will be looked upon unfavorably as you have now had a chance to visit our forums, read our rules and become more accustomed to how we expect players to conduct themselves.
You may return to the server at your leisure. Good hunting.
Regards,
Ranger10

Re: Unban Request
Thank you very much :) I hope that in the future the commander will give me a waypoint to move to instead of telling me to suicide though. Unfortunately, I was stressed out due to things unrelated to BF2 and told him to shut it. I apologize to the admin I told that to.
