Thread: Banned for no reason...

I had just joined your excellent Teamplayers Top 5 server and was playing when the Admin told another individual to not Bhop and that if he did he would be banned. I agreed with the admin in the exact words of "rofl kk brah" (a normal non abusive response from what I think) and then shortly after while walking from T Spawn in D2 (because I stopped and went AFK to read the MOTD and by the end of my reading everyone on my team was dead) and was then kicked and banned. I really like your server and the concept of it and your community and wish a lot of people would adopt your general Philosophy on gaming. If this Ban could be reversed it would be greatly appreciated.

Time of Ban: 3:05 am CST
Admin: unknown (I was only able to play 4 rounds)

Again Thank You for your time and patience and I would think that since I took the time to register on your website (which is really nice btw...) and filed this complaint that you would take my claim seriously (which I don't doubt but feel that I must preface it) as well as reconsider who you are giving admin to.

Please don't ban me if i am not allowed to post here since it is on the the CSS and not banned. I looked at this TMD and was just about to send you a PM telling you it was in the wrong spot.

We take all ban cases seriously. Matter of fact, we take everything seriously.

We do appreciate you coming in a filling out an unban request. I was not your banning admin, but I do have some things to add.

If the admin is not talking to you, or even if he is, we don't need the extra commentary/smart ass comments. All you need to say is, "Roger", "Ok"...etc.

The "rofl kk brah" was not needed and was more than likely looked at as a smart ass comment (even if you meant it as a joke or acknowledgement). Like I said, we take everything seriously. We deal with asshats EVERY day who make the same smartass comments and we ban them.

9 times out of 10, people who make such comments are people who are usually the ones who start problems and/or trouble. So we go ahead and take care of it before it even becomes a problem, then let them explain themselves right here in the forums.


My suggestion would be to only talk to the admin if:

1.) He/She addresses you
2.) You have a problem
3.) Reporting a problem player (I guess 2 and 3 can go together)
4.) Have a question for the admin

I would also suggest dropping the whole l33t speak, kk brah bullshit.. Not hating on you, but most of the people we have problems with are these exact people. The omgz0r im CAL-I pwnz0r y0 face brah type people. You seem like a great guy, and it's a shame you had to meet us in this manner. Then again, a lot of our outstanding regs and teamplayers have made a trip to the banned forums before..
