[Woo] Roger Federer Banned from CS:S servers

I'm not sure who banned me, but maybe someone remembers the de_inferno alt-mid through B through CT spawn to A call. I followed the call to alt-mid through apartments, picked up the bomb and changed the broken call to B. After planting, I was banned.

I always follow the call on your server, but my ability to do so word-for-word is often at odds with the desire to help my team, and win the round that I'm sure we all share.
I'm a reasonable person, and enjoy playing on your servers because they promote rushing, and are so well administered. But I also find that the admins sometimes abuse their power when caught up in the euphoria of cyber-leadership that is play-calling (lawl-right?). Changing a call after it's broken isn't personal (even if I tease you to slay me for it) and should not be illegal on a server that thrives on team communication.

Now, I will keep in mind that this is not my server, and if play calling is restricted to the [secret] admins, I can respect that. I was simply trying to help my team.

Roger, I was your banning admin. Let me start with a couple rounds before the ban. The call was to rush middle to B, however at the time, there were several T's who felt that they would rather sit back on rushes and trickle in afterward or blatantly not follow the call in the first place. On this particular call, you were sitting back in the window in mid while the rest of your team pushed. This resulted in your slay. Your defense? You were watching the flank.

A couple rounds after that was the broken play that you mentioned. The call was to rush middle, through CT spawn, to A. The play was broken and the T's took B and planted. What got you banned was your comment after planting. "Sorry, I changed the call. I should probably get banned."

So you get slayed once for not following the call, which you clearly had no intention of following, and all of a sudden the server that is so well administered is being run by an abusive admin? And you think being a smart ass back to that admin is going to be a good choice?

I think it is important to watch the flank, including from behind. However I was slayed on B-site balcony overlooking the bomb-site because I did not take the middle route to B.

I do think your servers are well administered, I'm sure its no easy task getting css players to follow orders, and I'll be the first to admit to my smart mouth, but there is no reason to be angry or otherwise take offence by what I said as I'm still not sure changing the call when you're not an [secret] admin is permitted on Team-Players (so.., it is right?). In the future I'll be sure to avoid rousing any temperaments or even suggesting to ban myself.

Very well, I will put up your vote. For reference, yes, anybody can make calls. Admins do tend to make a lot of calls, but calls are made by regulars just as much if not more often. And yes, watching the flank is a good idea on some calls, but it means nothing if you aren't communicating. At that point, it is simple trash collecting with no intention of helping the team.
