Thread: Unban Request - Death-Vow

1. l believe l was banned due to an accidental Team killing incident, involving myself driving over a long time buddy / fellow TTP patron BlameO. long story short , the intention was to pick up and tradeoff seats at high speed with a squad member, something l (as well as many other experienced players) do often. by his own admission, blameO was a tad off that night as he stated he was just getting over a cold (perhaps a little slow on the "E")

2. The server "Texas ...TeamPlayers... BF2 Ranked" , l'm not sure who made the call. as if there was warning l/we could have explained the confusion

3. if the reason l was banned was in fact what was listed above then l can only assume this is a misunderstanding. and should l be allowed to continue to play at TTP l will continue a commitment to fair, team based and competitive play. while trying to the best of ability, to prevent such incidence

Thanks for the prompt reply, l regret that l could not reciprocate. Have been fairly ill for some time

l indicated in the previous post that the intention was to “tradeoff seats at high speed”

To clarify

In respects to the:
“drove a vehicle directly at a fellow player”

That is Accurate, l/We (and potentially many others?) normally drive directly into the person to execute a seat tradeoff as long as the timing is done right there are usually no complications, barring ping and other technical issues.

In respects to the:
“and bailed out before it hit him”

This is also common practice within our squad, for a number of reasons. One of the most notable, this allows for the squad member to drop the squad leader at an asset (Jet, Armor, flag) in a rapid manner, and continue on without compromise
Those who l “squad-up” with on a regular basis are always ready to have the seat when they jump in or trade off if necessary


It’s been a while. but if l recall correctly that particular round, l as well as the rest of our squad had top score. This in and of itself means nothing. However, l would hope that it indicates intent. We/l are not the kind of players who come to a server with the intention of team killing.
We are there to PLAY FAIR, WIN, and have FUN doing it, and maybe crack a few jokes along the way.

For what it’s worth
there was an attempt to revive, however he did not have a med pack (l did razz him with a little teabag for this. Though it was more to show no hard feelings rather than any animosity)

As our account of the situation seem to differs, and without going too much into the semantics of why game developers put fast moving automobiles on islands. Perhaps to aid squad leaders in arriving “at an asset (Jet, Armor, flag) in a rapid manner”, regrettably this would be a conjecture, at best. As assumption is not fact.

Without disrespect or question of one’s credibility, might l ask what exactly is it that you think you saw?
