Thread: Unban Request: Banned for No Reason

#1. Why do you think you got banned?

The actions of another player joining with my name while I was on server with invalid characters in his name crashed the server and I was banned. Server crashed as soon as other player joined game with invalid characters.

I did nothing wrong.

#2. What server were you on? What admin do you believe banned you? What admins were there playing?

#3. Why should you be unbanned?

-I did absolutely nothing wrong.
-Actions of another player got me banned. Player Scotty joined the server as “s c o t t” (which was my name on the server at the time) with invalid characters in his name. My name was almost the exact same and admin/moderator assumed I was too blame for the server crashing.

I haven’t done anything wrong in the past nor will I in the future. I play by the TTP rules and love playing in the servers.

You were banned as a precaution because the servers were crashing left and right and you were loudly proclaiming knowledge of why they were doing so. Specifically when you said:

I just saw your question Arreo. I do understand why that looked suspicious. Scotty messaged me on steam friends and explained what he thought crashed the server. When I reconnected I made that comment. However, I shouldn't be looked at as suspicious. I am a clean player and play on the TTP servers on a daily basis. I made only a comment after I was informed of the situation that crashed the server. I hope you understand.

Understood, however I need to do my due diligence and make sure that neither of you pose any further threat to our servers. Until I and the CSS admins are fully satisfied of that, I can't unban you.

I will put up a vote for you and you should have the results in a maximum of 3 days (though probably less).
