Thread: PapaBearRunsonDunkin.....unban request

I was playing on the Texas BF2 server yesterday. I made the mistake of telling our commander, BlueMaxox (i don't know if that is his exact name) to 'go to hell'. I was thus banned with the message: 'BANNING!! PapaBearRunsonDunkin....you don't tell the commander to go to hell'

I won't bother describing WHY exactly I was prompted to tell our commander to 'go to hell', out of respect for the admin. I sincerely apologize for this lapse in respect and judgement, and you have my assurances such an event shall never again occur. I also hope I have properly followed the guidelines for an unban request. Thank you.

Actually, going back and looking at the rules, I think i did skip one part: why I should be unbanned.

Well...basically because I'm a team player and this is really the only server I play on, and aside from this one glaring lapse in judgement I am actually quite respectful and quiet.

Oh, and because this is the only server my gf likes playing on, and I am sincerely worried she is angry at me for getting banned like an idiot. :8

Thank you for your patience in waiting on your unban request. We have been unable to locate your banning admin, therefore I will handle your unban request. You mentioned in your opening post telling the commander to "go to hell". Care to shed some light on this?

BlueMaxox became commander about 40 seconds before the game started. He immediately began yelling at the squad leaders about how there were too many 'one mad squads'. I mentioned to him (admittedly, starting the sentence with 'jesus christ, dude...') that the game hadn't even started yet, and perhaps he could give us a little time to invite some people into the squads.

He immediately shot back that whoever said that can just keep their mouth shut. I mentioned again, more civilly, that the game hadn't started yet, and maybe he could just give us some time to invite people into the squads. He said, in an extremely agitated and parental manner, "Well I don't need your smart mouth!!!"

I proceeded to say these exact words: "What are you, my dad? Go to hell!"...Thus, I was banned. I admit my mistake, and that is the whole story. I certainly don't intend to make BlueMaxox sound like he was being a huge jerk, but....it was a bit unreasonable to be yelling at us about one man squads 35 seconds before the round even started.

First of all....your story is right except one thing...you were not civil. As commander I see what is going on and at the time I had one full squad and 7 one man squads. We had been loosing and I knew that one man squads were not going to make it. Yes I was intense when i said we had to many one man squads and YOU should have just said Yes Sir...that is all. But you were sarcastic and then told me to go to hell. that is not team play on this server. I did not ask you to invite people...I ordered you to join another squad. You dont question orders on this server.

I will put your unban request up for a vote. It could take up to three days to get the results.

Well....I apologize again, admit the mistake, and will follow all orders in the future. I appreciate the response.
