Thread: Ban time far expired.

I was banned from the BF2 TTP Vanilla server (64-man). I was banned after a TK. This guy, I don't even remember his tag, tkd me 3 or 4 times in a row and I had some TKs of my own from some bombing runs, so when this guy threatened to TK me again I got him first.. I was auto-banned for TKs. This was right when you were switching your website over and I could not appeal the ban at the time, but it said that auto bans were for 24 hours.. It has been WELL over a month and I would appreciate an Unban. I enjoy the competition on the server and the variety of maps.

I don't know what the exact situation was. It may have been a back and forth now that I think about it. I am just sick of jet TKers getting away with that crap, I know that he initiated it. I have sworn to myself, and I swear to you that I will avoid stupid back and forths like that from now on. It's just not worth it.

I think we are going to need a little exsplaination as to why you should be allowed back on the server that you " enjoy the competition on the server and the variety of maps." but are so willing to insult.

I do recall being edgy because there were a lot of players surviving certain-kills... I remember shooting a player in the face a few times at point blank and nothing happening, in fact I think i was the one who ended up dying. That was part of a bunch of things coming together on a bad night. The server was either acting up or players were hacking... The guy that had TKd me was at like -24 for multiple tks on other players, if i recall, and hadn't been kicked. It was just a bad night. I did very much enjoy the server... although when things are not going as they should, sometimes the server is at fault. Do you deny that sometimes servers glitch? I apologize to TPG, it wasnt a personal insult. I have been on TTP servers on various other games.. and yes, i do enjoy TPG. The fact that I took the time and effort to come to the new site, register and file an appeal to rejoin should show my intent to be completely respectful of the clan and the players on their servers.

I would hardly call 2:22 pm at night but thats your call. Just so were on the same page let go over a couple things. In your post you admit team killing someone. Then you admit "you were having a bad night" and said what you said about the server that many of us spend a great deal of time trying to keep it an evironment that everyone can enjoy. Then somehow the server shares the blame for what YOU did. Does that about sum it up or would you like to readdress it before i put it up for a vote?

It was a long time ago.. To be honest I am not even positive that what I said was even around the same time I was banned, may have been a few hours apart, I really don't know... But, it happened immediately after an intentional TK.. yes.. Is that not what these appeals are for? To admit what we did and express our will to be more respectful? I thought it was more in the late afternoon, if not evening.. I really don't know. I am not blaming the server itself for what I said, or for tking.. but again, is this not what a ban appeal forum is for? to right a wrong? I was not directing what I said to an individual or the clan, although there were some occasions where I might have 'yelled' at someone.. I am apologizing for being crude and disrespectful to the host clan AND for intentional TKing. I am not even going to entertain getting retribution for tks, its not worth it, nor is it worth arguing with other players. Again, the fact that I registered and have followed through to this point should be worth something.

Fair enough i will put your ban up for a vote. It should take no longer than 3 days. So continue to check this thread for the responce.

By vote of the admins your ban has been overturned. You are free to join the server but keep in mind everything that was discussed so we dont end up here again.
